In response to the statement of non-evangelical churches in Israel, I issued the following. I hope you will read prayerfully.
I love my brothers and sisters in Christ from traditional, liturgical churches and respect their views, but I do not feel any sect of the Christian faith should claim exclusivity in speaking for Christians worldwide or assume there is only one viewpoint regarding faith in the Holy Land. Personally I’m part of a global and growing evangelical tradition that believes the authority of Scripture and the faithfulness of God in keeping His covenants. That includes His covenant with Abraham and the Jewish people. My Christian faith is built on the foundation of Judaism and without it, Christianity would not exist. Without the Judeo-Christian worldview, there would be no Western Civilization, and without Western Civilization, there would be no America. The thought that God is even capable of breaking a covenant is anathema to those of us who embrace Holy Scripture as the authority of the church. If God can or would break His covenant with the Jews, then what hope would Christians have that He would keep His covenant with us? Labels such as “Christian Zionism” are too often used in a pejorative manner to disparage free-church believers, of which there are millions across the planet. Christians are followers of Christ and a Zionist simply accepts that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient, indigenous, and Biblical homeland. It’s hard for me to understand why every one who takes on the moniker “Christian” would not also be a Zionist. It’s not a commitment to a particular government or government policy, but to the Biblical revelation as given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In my faith, there is certainly room for those who “butter their bread” differently than me, and I would hope that there would be room in the hearts of other church bodies for me. We need to unite in those truths that should be agreed upon, such as the sanctity of life, the sacred act of marriage, the autonomy of the individual, the desire to lift up every human and alleviate human suffering, and the belief that grace is God’s gift to us all. Please share with others and "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!"
Walt Disney once told Charles Schulz he wasn't good enough to draw background art.
Form letter. Very polite.
"We only hire the very finest artists."
Sparky wasn't one of them.
His yearbook rejected his cartoons. His school gave him a zero in physics. He failed every subject in eighth grade.
Every. Single. One.
The other kids called him "Sparky" — after a horse in a comic strip.
They were calling him an animal.
Paul Harvey said it best:
"Sparky wasn't actually disliked by the other youngsters. No one cared enough about him to dislike him."
So this invisible boy did something strange.
He didn't try to prove Disney wrong.
He wrote his autobiography in cartoons instead.
Named the main character after himself.
Charlie Brown.
A kid whose kite never flies. Whose team never wins. Whose crush never notices him.
Then Schulz did something the network executives hated.
He put Luke 2 at the center of his Christmas special.
"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy..."
They told him to cut it.
Too religious.
He refused.
Christmas Eve, millions of families will watch that scene.
A loser became the messenger.
Disney said he wasn't good enough.
God said otherwise.

THE SAD DEATH OF *CHRISTIANITY TODAY* ...
Yesterday what was many years ago a genuinely Christian magazine published a nasty hit piece on me that is generally sloppy and lazy, w/several factual errors. They never even bother to try to fathom WHY I became so pro-Trump. A big part of the answer is that I was deeply sickened and shocked at the cowardice of so many "evangelical elites" -- w/Russell Moore and "Christianity Today" at the top of that list -- in failing to stand against the corruption and pernicious lies of the Democratic Party. I was horrified to realize that these so-called Christians were mostly leftists themselves, politically more comfortable w/Marxist atheists & America-hating globalists than with Bible-believing Christians and other patriotic Americans, whom they simply sneered at, childishly calling them "Christian nationalists" and other names. I realized that all the evangelical elites who postured that they would have stood w/Bonhoeffer or Wilberforce were now doing precisely the opposite, for the sake of currying favor w/their friends at the NYTimes & Wash Post etc. They had ZERO courage or prophetic witness, and therefore gave no evidence of the saving faith they claimed to have. The raping & trafficking of children across our open borders was not an issue to them, nor were the serious questions millions had about the 2020 election or the Covid vaccine, or the vicious animus the Biden administration showed toward serious Christians across our country. So I very happily fled from them and their craven ilk, fearing God infinitely more more than their approval. He alone is my Judge. May He in His great mercy yet reach these poor souls who have lost their way. God bless America.
@NeilYoungNYA Goodbye Neil. You and Joan both are silly silly people. Played your music since Rust and Harvest, jammed your tunes with friends snd bands until you proved what a little bi^%$ you are for the radical left. Adios mf. https://t.co/O93Onweh9D
James Taylor
I have been playing James Taylor songs as a musician for 50 years. I canceled EVERY song out of my repertoire after he headlined the Chicago DNC while they had a mobile abortion factory out front. All the way back to Mudslide. Adios James https://t.co/Qp6QCRlc6i
Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!
@nosoupforgeorge Make American Great again is offensive? Who is offending who? Why don't you wear your "FUUSA" hat for all your "progressive" friends to "love you".
