PIP is not means-tested and is not tied to being out of work.
About one in six recipients are in employment, according to @guardian reporting.
Disability support and paid work are not mutually exclusive.

Target pensions or welfare, don't tax banks, neoliberal IMF tells UK Chancellor.
Silence on corporate welfare, bank subsidies and profiteering; poverty, equitable distribution of income and wealth.
Sacrificing old, poor, sick to the gods of fiscal rules.

The reason Burnham is PM is the battering Labour councillors received in the local elections.
Mainly because voters are good people who (unlike the Labour Party) don't support the slaughter of children.
The few that remain - don't want to lose their seats.
The AVERAGE profit that Private Corporations make in the UK is 89% of the minimum wage per worker.
If you are working for the minimum wage your employer makes nearly as much money as you do.
And they will probably pay less tax than you.
But they don't do ANY work for that.

Labour are really showing themselves up.
They're comparing those of us demanding an end to the genocide with Reform and Tommy Robinson.
Keir Starmer may have gone - but his politics and our Governments commitment to arms licences very much remain.
👇🏽
It's @uklabour who is as bad as Reform and Tommy Robinson. They never correct Helen Whately's obvious lies about disabled people. They punish people trying to uphold international law. The most authoritarian government we have ever had who armed an ongoing genocide.
PIP is not conditional on being unemployed.
It can support eligible people who work, because disability-related costs don’t disappear when someone gets a job.
Anyone debating PIP should understand what it is actually designed to do.

This needs to stop. Who is the watchdog for these people? How come think tanks can walk all over disability rights without any pushback at all. Has anyone got our backs? why aren't think tanks looking at MPs expenses instead? There's a lot of money to be found right there.
Why are we disabled claimants expected to justify every need while governments aren’t held to the same standard for failures in healthcare, social care and employment access?
Accountability must apply to those making policy as well as those living under it.

People are very unhappy in France as they are in many places.
There are no opportunities for young people, Education is unaffordable, Rent is extortionate, buying a house impossible, decent jobs don't exist.
All while billionaires become trillionaires.
People are sick of it.
It's very troubling that so many Reform councillors think they should be above any accountability, and refuse to accept that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable when exposed.
