it’s a rainy night in manila. i was rushing to get home from españa after a fun day with friends, working on a project.
it brings so much comfort to my heart that i go home to my cozy dorm room, ending the day in prayer to God, knowing all this beauty comes from Him.
The goodness of even a few people can overcome the fear of many. We must be like an open Bible for everyone. May others encounter the Word of God in our faces and lives. Love is the language that makes everyone feel at home. #ApostolicJourney
Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
AI is so popular because it gives uncreative people the illusion that they are creative. It lets them skip right to the part where they get validation. It’s not only parasitic, but extremely narcissistic.
The Holy Spirit challenges us today regarding our relationship with technology and the ongoing digital revolution. Technology has the power to heal, connect, educate and protect our common home; but it can also divide, exclude and generate new forms of injustice. #MagnificaHumanitas
'If the human being is treated as something to be perfected or surpassed, it becomes easier to accept that some lives are less useful, less desirable or less worthy'

this Pope is the first one of my lifetime that has legitimately convinced me to engage with Catholic literature and their understanding of the world and i'm not Catholic
