there was a time in highschool where i was really into fashion and really into space exploration and i tried to contort this into some career/identity by telling people i wanted to design spacesuits for astronauts. after a while i realized that this contorting was really unhealthy, and identifying passions as career-legible-vectors is just an awful way to go about life.
i then decided i would just be someone who likes both fashion and space exploration and if i happen to end up designing spacesuits, that's awesome, but not everything needs to be geared for some resume-reading omniscience.
Don't let your eagerness for progress override the voice of your intuition. A faster start is not always the most aligned, and often leads to scenic routes filled with side quests and games you'd rather not play.
Sometimes, a little patience, waiting to hit the ground running in the way and at the moment your intuition guides you, spares you unnecessary soul friction and psychic deviation, preserving undiluted momentum for when it actually counts.
Frustration is often a self-created artefact of initial impatience.
