Surely we cannot leave this as is? How can any officer, whether junior or senior conduct him or herself in such a manner, especially in front of subordinates. This has often been the kind of behaviour that was not condemned by the SAPS management and obviously it would then flourish.

What makes matters worse in this video is that the said colonel literally tells the one senior person who seems to be the only cool, calm and collected officer (a lieutenant colonel) to ‘tsek’.

He also takes another members firearm (shotgun).

Furthermore, this guy is going to get innocent people killed, if you cannot handle the job, then don’t do it.

The colonel is the current acting station commander of Delft South African Police Service station in the Western Cape.
