Woke up to this dude chilling in my backyard this morning, first time I've seen one outside of captivity. One of the perks of literally living in paradise I guess π
This Eastern Yellow Robin has been hanging around a lot lately, always trying to get on camera, so about time I give him some screen time

After a lifetime of hearing them all around me but never once spotting one, I've finally caught an Eastern Whipbird on camera, and I couldn't be happier with this hazy obscured mess of a photo #birding#birdphotography
@massaboosetts You don't have to set an intention to have fun with it. Before it became "Tik Tok famous" a lot of people just used it to throw off the reality loop. All that matters is you're going somewhere you never would've gone without the randomness, the intention just aids synchronicity
Now that SDRTrunk supports @Broadcastify's new shiny calls feature I've been able to set up a feed for the local GRN tower: https://t.co/4qYPkgnMnj
Should be very useful for journos to be able to walk back through an incident. Look forward to seeing more comms geeks contributing
I'm not a medical guy but signed up for @ProMED_mail a few years back. Having a rapid source of accurate clinical information in the early days of #COVID19 was incredibly helpful when coupled with the ground reports from people like @DrEricDing

@benjamingrundy Watching question time rn, apparently large traffic triggered DDoS alarms in their monitoring systems.
"The DDoS alarms show no evidence of a specific attack occurring today" despite experiencing several smaller attacks in the past couple of weeks.
@benjamingrundy Haven't seen that yet, will have a squiz. Though have seen a lot of cases where people in charge are quick to jump to conclusions - techs see big traffic spike and alert mgmt, mgmt tells execs and add their own speculative spin, etc. Always fun.
@benjamingrundy Honestly doubt it was an attack. Clearly they're under heavy organic load, and a well designed attack may look indistinguishable from heavy organic load. It just doesn't make any sense to DoS the site.
