Case in point: Singapore.

Virtually no natural resources.

0.4% the population of Africa.

Actually received independence after many African countries.

Lacks fresh water.

Ethnic diversity could’ve meant being prone to internal conflict.

And yet,

1st globally for infrastructure and economic competitiveness.

1st in business efficiency.

3rd in government efficiency.

10th Highest average IQ worldwide.

8th highest GDP per capita (nearly 50X that of the entire Africa’s GDP per capita)

You may be very keen to say why they’re an exception, but they’re not the only example.

Success is certainly achievable in spite of adversity.

B will be poor forever unless he first admits that his poverty is his fault.
