🗣️ ''That's the kind of incident that comes because defenders are trying to shield the ball''
Analysis on the collision between Cristian Romero and Antonin Kinsky after Romero tried to shield the ball from Brian Brobbey.
A THREAD of the APPALLING and ABHORRENT decisions made by referee Robert Jones during #thfc’s 1-0 defeat at Sunderland today. 🧵⤵️
Beginning with Brian Brobbey’s late tackle on Cristian Romero, which saw no card given. 🤦♂️ https://t.co/8iKZ2QupZM
Don’t let the fake humility fool you. Guy gave up playing for his country because Ledley King (an infinitely better player than him) was picked infront of him. Short memories
I don’t blow my own trumpet as it’s not my style or the style for people from the city of Liverpool, but we are allowed to defend ourselves!
There has only been three CB’s from LFC to make the PFA TOTY in the PL era, VVD, Sami & me!!
The year was 2005/6 when the PL CB’s were…….
"Gabriel has fooled the referee into giving a decision" 👀
A look into the controversial decision to disallow Randal Kolo Muani's goal for a push on Gabriel and how it compares to Hugo Ekitike's goal for Liverpool against Spurs 💬
Here's just the first half our at Old Trafford yesterday, as promised...featuring Michael Oliver vs Tottenham Hotspur (I kid you not)
I will complete the thread to the full 90min later tonight...but so far it's bonkers👀
10-0 United even before the Red
The standard of officiating in this league is somehow getting worse by the week. Too many decisions are made depending on what shirt you are wearing. This is worse than Simons on VVD
Nottingham Forest say they have made a formal complaint to officiating body the PGMOL over key decisions they feel went against them in Saturday’s defeat to Manchester City.
Sources briefed on the situation indicated the club have put their concerns in writing regarding two key moments they believe referee Rob Jones and his team of match officials got wrong.
Forest felt that City defender Ruben Dias was fortunate to escape a second yellow card for a foul on Igor Jesus early in the second half, which brought a halt to a promising attack.
Sean Dyche also believed that Morgan Gibbs-White had been fouled by Nico O’Reilly in the build-up to City’s 83rd minute winning goal from Rayan Cherki.
Forest have asked to be provided with the audio of the match officials’ conversations during the game, while Dyche is expected to speak to referee chief Howard Webb directly over the incidents.

Part of me was annoyed that Romero scored because it would have been really interesting to see if they gave us a pen too. Decision making against us this season has been abhorrent
It’s a huge problem in football now. Somehow clubs will always get decisions that others don’t. Eventually it will kill football, this dedication to the red cartel
Can clearly see the football privilege here. Trust me, if you have been up since 5am, travelled for 4 hours plus to see your team get spanked…the least you expect is appreciation from the team. Out. Of. Touch
A revolutionary idea: let’s put the people going to games before those watching on tv. Maybe even announce the kick off times and days of matches before fans have to apply for them….
Honestly the referees & VAR have had an absolute shocker of a start to the season. If that goal is disallowed for a foul you will never ever see a corner be taken without referee blowing for something ever again🫣🤷🏻♂️
