@privacylawyer Agreed. If you parse through most of what they are saying it's the enforcement mechanism. Bill C-413 (private bill, Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, ETHI Co-chair) tabled last June - giving the Commissioner order-making power and providing offences punishable by fines - addresses this.
