What is the largest source of electricity in each country?

Coal generates one-third of the world’s electricity, more than any other source.

But zoom into the country level, and the picture is much more varied. The map shows which source generated the most power in each country in 2024 or 2025 (the latest year available).

Thanks to large reserves, coal dominates across Asia. It’s the largest source in China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. These are huge power producers, which is why coal is so dominant at a global level.

Across most other regions, it’s mostly a mix of gas and hydropower. On islands and parts of North Africa, it’s oil.

Europe has the most diverse mix, with nuclear power dominating generation in countries such as France and Finland, and solar and wind overtaking fossil fuels as the largest sources in countries such as Spain and Germany.

Solar and wind are growing quickly in many countries; when these sources are combined as “variable renewables”, they become the largest source in six more countries: the Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Pakistan.

No soy experto aeronáutico como Gaitán, pero leyendo el informe oficial de un incidente similar en otro Boeing 787 en Heathrow, veo factible que pudiera tratarse del mismo problema.
Por lo visto, el bulón de seguridad del tren delantero se puede colocar de manera errónea. Así a simple vista, parece un error de diseño poner dos agujeros contiguos si eso da pie a error humano.
A ver qué dice la investigación.

Tesla with 2.000.000 million kilometers by EV Clinic Large Drive Unit remanufacturing and improvements stopped sequence of repeated failures every 100k km. He changed 14 motors, and now this one already made more than 400.000km in total. Inspection showed minor coolant leak and contamination of the sliding surface on the rotor shaft, but relief drain saved any further damage. New Graphite seal is ready to hold to the moon and back. Reliability is only sustainable roadmap.

Hansjörg necesito 14 motores para alcanzar 1,8M km.
Desde que EV Clinic dieron con el problema, lleva más de 1M con el mismo motor.

Bei Tesla wurden bis 1.800.000 km 14 Motoren benötigt. In der EVC bis jetzt für 1.048.000 km exakt 1,0 Motoren. Kein Schreibfehler! Motor wird locker noch einige 100.000 km vielleicht sogar die 2.000.000 km ohne größere Reparatur laufen.

La inquina que tienen muchos conductores a los ciclistas en España es deprimente.
En Flandes hay mucho más respeto, entre otra cosas, porque quien conduce suele tener un mallot en su casa.
Aunque también es cierto que esta situación apenas se da por aquí, porque hay carriles bici por todas partes.
