According to Nuffield data, in 2020, Β£6.2 billion was spent on agency staff in the NHS. There are currently 360,000 nurses, midwives & health visitors. That works out at Β£17,222 pounds pay for each nurse if agency staff weren't used. Money is there. https://t.co/igqbQPIIAa
Thanks Samantha Fish for spending 534 minutes with me in 2022. I couldnβt stop listening to Twisted Ambition. #SpotifyWrapped https://t.co/IUBKvuDgwn
@MParry442@PublicHealthW It has been a pleasure (and frequently entertaining) working with you over the past 8 years Maria. A great loss to USW nursing students. Never look back, influence many more in different ways. David
#CostOfLivingCrisis income tax cut of 1% for everyone under Β£50000pa whilst income tax cut of 5% for everyone on over 150000pa. So remind me, who is going to be better off? Damn the tory government. 12 years to sort out the economy and its going into recession. π‘π‘
#CostOfLivingCrisis we have just received our new monthly direct debit payment from our supplier. It has gone up by Β£700 per year which is rather coincidentally the approximate amount we are supposed to be getting from the government. π‘π‘
I wonder if the government have thought about subsidising solar panel installation for every domestic customer. At about 7k per installation would it be cheaper than the current offer and building nuclear power plants?
#obscene profiteering. BP profits 5 billion pounds for 3 months. Possibly 20 billion for the year. Their own estimate of tax paid 1billion for the year. That's 5%! Is this fair?
