In my opinion, yesterday a turning point in the war took place.
Perhaps we still do not fully grasp the significance of what happened.
For the first time, Putin publicly showed his weakness and inability to independently protect his capital, his parade, and himself from our strikes. Because of this, a frightened Putin was forced to publicly humiliate himself and ask Trump, as a mediator, to help stop a strike on Moscow.
De facto, Putin asked Trump to protect him from the Ukrainians.
I consider President Zelenskyy’s order a brilliant informational slap in the face and an additional public humiliation.
It is obvious that before and during the parade, Putin was physically afraid - he felt vulnerable and threatened.
Putin publicly appeared weak and humiliated, and in Russia’s "prison-style" political culture, such things are not forgiven.
A weak "tsar," mocked by everyone, cannot remain a tsar in Russia.
These are very, very hard times for Ukraine. However, Ukraine is strong, resilient, and continues the fight.
Slava Ukraini!

I am genuinely astonished by this question: “Is Zelensky an obstacle to peace with Russia?”
Seriously -- how do you imagine that?
To begin with, not everything that irresponsible populists and Kremlin-coddled useful idiots call “peace” is actually peace, rather than a self-interested appeasement of Putin through betrayal and the complete surrender Ukraine -- a Ukraine that Putin has not even been able to defeat on the battlefield.
And secondly -- do you really think it is Zelensky who decides whether Ukraine will continue fighting or not?
That decision is made not by Zelensky at all, but by the people of Ukraine -- and above all by roughly one million men and women in Ukraine’s defense forces, who have been holding the front for four years, fighting and, every single day, making a personal decision to keep going and to keep going again, despite everything -- and to do so against such a titanic force as Russia, under unimaginably harsh conditions, year after year.
Does anyone seriously think that the front against the full conventional power of Russia is being held by a million clones of Zelensky?
Or that Zelensky has a control panel wired into every Ukrainian soldier, preventing them from stopping and walking away?
Ukraine does not have Stalin-style blocking detachments or extrajudicial executions at the front, as Russia does (the well-known “nullifications”).
In practice, there isn’t even real criminal prosecution for those who refuse to fight, abandon their units, or commit similar offenses (because good luck trying to deal with all that).
Put bluntly, in Ukraine, if someone who has been mobilized (including through the infamous“minibuses”) absolutely does not intend and does not want to fight, they won’t.
Sooner or later, they will leave at some stage -- during training, once already assigned to a unit, or even at the front.
There are also those who simply warn their comrades, unofficially hand over their duties, and go home after fighting honorably for years, because they simply cannot go on anymore.
One of the main reasons behind the much-publicized, shocking AWOL figures in the Ukrainian military is the fact that the army, in general, does not have the capacity to forcibly retain large numbers of people who categorically refuse to serve.
The real “obstacle” to what corrupt demagogues call “peace with Russia” is not Zelensky at all -- it is the motivation and the decision to save one’s country, its future, one’s family and loved ones, and themselves from Putin’s deranged Reich.
I have not been with the military in a war zone since the Battle of Bakhmut, but I can assure you of this: if someone thinks that fighting FOR YEARS in that hell -- in the position the Ukrainian army finds itself in, against a vastly more powerful and ruthless enemy that spares no titanic resources and stops at no war crime -- does not require extraordinary motivation and heroism for Ukraine, then they are profoundly, profoundly mistaken.
And do you know what happens when an army and its rear do not want to fight for their country and for those leading it?
Afghanistan in 2021 happens.
Assad’s Syria in 2024 happens.
Now compare that with what Ukraine has been doing against Russia and its totalitarian allies.

Yes, this is definitely the first case in human history that a nation bleeding out under attack has a knife by its throat from yesterday’s biggest friend in need that went bonkers and switched to Al Capone-style racketeering amid war.
BREAKING: Former Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, just completely went off on Trump’s idea that Ukraine is the aggressor and debunked all of the Russian propaganda that is being spread:
“Putin launched his war not because he was worried about Nato – that's pure Kremlin propaganda – but because he is a ruthless opportunist, who had been in power for two decades, and who thought he could revive his political fortunes with a short, sharp war to rebuild the Russian empire… and everybody can see that Volodymyr Zelensky is not a dictator but a democrat courageously defending his country against an aggressor. He doesn't shoot journalists. He doesn't poison his opponents or send them to the Gulag. That's Putin."
No, The Donald’s ingenious plan to sever Russia from its vassal dependence on China through insults directed at Zelensky, betrayal of Ukraine, and pandering to Putin’s desires will not succeed.
However, what he will certainly achieve with his antics is a catastrophic discrediting of America’s global leadership, a reckless, unnecessary, and absurd confrontation with Europe, and, essentially, the end of the Pax Americana, all amidst the most vulgar buffoonery.
