@tablesetterspod Oh it definitely has. He was a top 80-100ish guy heading into the year. Arm talent alone keeps him where I said imo, Jed likely doesn’t want to sell low on him either.
Not to mention, his struggles in Iowa since coming off injury likely keeps other teams off him anyway.
@tablesetterspod My true guess on value
Shaw top 75-100 prospect
Rojas top 50-75 prospect
Alcantara top 15 guy in average system
Caple top 15 guy in average system
Cade off the board
Wiggins top 10 guy in average system
@tablesetterspod I try not to dismiss trade ideas especially because it’s so easy to do so, when it’s not coming from yourself lol.
Usually you take two fan bases and the deal is in the middle of what’s being offered by both sides lol
@tablesetterspod If it was Theo and it was a truly contending season…. It wouldn’t shock me to see a trade out of the Cubs like this.
Honestly don’t think Jed makes a move nearly this big even if it were a contending year.
Anyone would love to get Webb obviously
@tablesetterspod Not how Jed does things. This isn’t an all-in year. Better shot at winning division then MAYBE something with Wiggins and rest makes sense. But not Cade- I get the value is lower, but they’re not trading him at his lowest.
And if Buster doesn’t like it- deal with someone else.
