Start the day out right tomorrow with Crime and Punishment at 8:00 followed by Economics of Crime at 10:15 both in Grand Ballroom Salon I. We'll bring the coffee. #ASSA2026
P.S. This doesnβt mean this answer applies using rules at different schools or the first amendment or that itβs the *right* rule. This is just my read under the rules as they currently exist at Penn. (10/10)
@lee_kovarsky Nah, can't have the d without b. Or the rest of the terms, which refer to e.g. hazing, stealing, etc but don't explicitly refer to discipline
@lee_kovarsky Ya, but don't you think part of that real code are those two provisions in the image (unless I screwed that up cause I suck at the xitters)?
@lee_kovarsky I'm just a fake law prof but since when is an FAQ binding? It looks like III.b and d of the code of student conduct are what's relevant and a bit contradictory. But my (ignorant, non-lawyer) read is that calls for genocide qualify as threats of violence against another person.
