Let’s be clear. Iran has launched multiple waves of ballistic missiles at Israeli civilian populations unprovoked.
Tehran claims it’s a response to the situation in Lebanon. It isn’t. It’s a PR stunt.
The Iranian regime has watched the Lebanese president’s CNN interview blaming them for using Lebanon as a bargaining chip. They’ve heard the voices of ordinary Lebanese people saying they want peace with Israel. They can sense the tide turning and now they’re trying to recast themselves as protectors of the country they spent decades destroying.
Israel cannot accept a reality in which Iran launches missiles at it simply to send a message. No other country in the world would.
I spent some time at the anti-Israel protests in Vienna. I want to share a conversation I had there.
I spoke to a man who insisted Israel was committing genocide because of the scale. When I challenged the casualty figures he cited, pointing out that by his own math, Israel had managed to kill exactly zero combatants and only civilians, he said that numbers don’t matter. What matters is intent.
So I asked, by that logic, did Hamas commit genocide on October 7th?
No, he said. Hamas is a resistance movement.
I asked whether he considered himself informed. He replied yes.
Where did he get his information? Mainly from journalists on social media.
Did he follow any Israeli journalists or outlets? No, they all publish propaganda.
And how, I asked, does he know that if he doesn’t follow them?
He just does, apparently.
We spoke for a long time.
I think, I hope at least, that I managed to leave him with one thought. There’s a problematic kind of confidence that comes from only ever hearing one side of a story while being sure you know it all.
This story from Turkish propaganda outlet TRT World has gone viral.
The IDF says the story is "completely unfounded."
A Hamas terrorist approached the Yellow Line holding an "unidentified object"... who later turned out to be a toddler being used as a human shield.
The soldiers fired at the roadside to warn the suspect to back away. It is "likely" that "splinters" caused injuries to the suspect and the concealed toddler.
The suspect was apprehended and admitted to entering Israeli territory during the October 7 Massacre.
The child was placed under the full supervision of an IDF physician until the Red Cross came to pick him up, wrapped in a thermal blanket.
When the IDF eliminated a terrorist who killed and kidnapped Israelis on Oct 7–that also doubled as a @UN worker, instead of being ashamed, apologizing and opening an investigation, the @UN spread disinformation and said we killed an aid worker with no context.
Here’s an image of him during the Oct 7 massacre:
Football is wonderfully cyclical. No team, no club dominates perennially. It would be boring otherwise. The bad times make the good times so much better.
Neve Shimshon hosted Ra’anana on Friday. NS batted first and were bowled out for 99. Josh Evans started with the ball with 5 wickets for 18 in 8 overs. Ra’anana chased the total within 28 overs and 6 wickets down with Rafi Schachat scoring 39.
If @josbuttler had been warned well that’s fine ... if he hasn’t and it’s the first time I think @ashwinravi99 is completely out of order ... watch how often this happens from now on !!!!!!! #IPL
We currently sit 34 points behind leaders Liverpool with 30 points left to play for.
Some will say that it's mathematically impossible to win the league but those people lack faith.
