Seems it's a big payoff for government by maintaining high house prices. Inflated high prices = high inheritance tax. A win, win for the government.#Liveline
The question on everybody's lips in Portrane and beyond is when. Minister you have been elected because the constituents put their faith in you to deliver. Now deliver.
@sineadgibney
Hello Sinead, thank you for visiting the residents of Portrane north county Dublin last Friday. I got to speak to you briefly and explain our concerns in relation to coastal erosion.
Please highlight the issue.
Disaster zone in Portrane north county Dublin after spring high tides coinciding with storm Kathleen caused significant coastal erosion on an already fragile and vulnerable coast.
@SocDems Thanks for visiting Portrane last week Holly, unfortunately this situation has changed drastically since your visit. More people to add to the housing crisis soon because of government inaction.
@rtenews RTE doesn't have to go to Wexford to see the destruction caused by coastal erosion. Just outside the capital city in north country Dublin is Portrane beach which has been fighting erosion for years and is threatening the homes of the residents along the coast
Mary 'Dancing Mary' Dunne, was a common sight on O'Connell Street for 20 years. The Dun Laoghaire native was always immaculately dressed, with trademark skirt & high heels. She danced for hours in all weathers, in religious ecstasy & with the energy of a woman half her age.
@deirdrenugent4 A burning fire be it turf, logs or coal is one of the few pure pleasures for many. I won't be extinguishing my stove for no government.
