Williston Senior High School was closed in 1968 & its students were divided & sent to @NewHanoverHS or @HoggardHS. In the 1980s, alumni came together and formed the Williston Alumni Choral Ensemble, with O’Dell once more at the helm. The choir is still active today.
O'Dell taught in Mississippi and at St. Augustine’s College before landing at Williston. She was a powerful role model for her students and demanded disciplined excellence from her pupils. @NewHanoverCoSch@WillistonTigers#BlackHistoryMonth
