I remember shooting "About Us But Not About Us" during lockdown, and how suffocating that time felt. We worked behind masks and strict protocols, always paranoid about distance. It felt restrictive at the time. But looking back, that claustrophobia was the right backdrop for a story about secrets and a stolen manuscript that refuses to stay buried.

But the story didn’t want to stay on screen.

On February 14, "About Us But Not About Us" returns as a live stage production. Romnick Sarmenta and Elijah Canlas are stepping back into their roles, with Epi Quizon joining the mix to complicate the dynamic even further. We’re taking a story born in isolation and putting it in a room full of people, unfolding in real time.

This time, you aren’t just watching. You’re being asked to judge.

The novel at the center of the conflict, Teorya ng mga Tanong, now exists outside the play. It will be available in the theatre lobby, credited to Lancelot Guinto, the student at the center of the story.
