Hello All,
I was fortunate to have been gifted the last ticket to the Sunday showing at the Ashland Film Festival of: Mary Oliver: Saved by the Beauty of the World.
In 2008, I had the privilege of seeing Mary Oliver at her poetry reading in Portland, Oregon, which was mentioned in this film. If you have an opportunity to see it, I highly recommend this movie.

The film Mary Oliver: Saved by the Beauty of the World is a 2026 documentary directed by Sasha Waters, exploring the life of the beloved American poet. Premiering at the 2026 True/False Film Fest, it highlights her love for nature, private life as a gay woman, and features celebrity readings, set for a PBS American Masters release in August 2026.
From Google:
In February 2008, Mary Oliver sold out the 2,700-seat Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon, for a reading hosted by Portland Arts & Lectures, creating a "ticket frenzy".
