How might we reimagine education and work that values and grows people to their fullest contribution? My #TEDx talk on this @TEDxSantaCruz just came out! (Twitter thread for those who prefer to read, with slight updates) https://t.co/hdYNsQtTxK
@sohmray Cool! how did you generate the figures, especially the ones that are not just static, but build or animate? did you literally just describe what you wanted or did you have design files or images you asked it to embed? and if so, any chance I could see the conversation/skill? :D
@rodydavis@antigravity 1. would really appreciate better integration with IDE. e.g. can continue a conversation in the IDE when one needs to reference parts of a file.
2. easier to see what changes were made turn by turn (the approve/reject in IDE made it easy to see what to check)
@OfficialLoganK Yes! Excited for this and would be happy to partner if helpful! (faculty at UCSC; director of research pathways working to enhance experiential learning opportunities, which I think AI can really transform) Have been using Antigravity in my programs.
@kevinhou22 Great job! I've really enjoyed using Antigravity and have my students and lab using it. I use it both for non-code things too, but I think they could be sync'd better. If I can't even see my documents (for non-code), or can't pick up in an IDE, it makes things really difficult.
@_mohansolo 1. Can clicking the "Open IDE" button open the workspace in a new window (past behavior) rather than replacing the current one? Replacing makes it a lot harder to multitask across projects.
2. Keyboard shortcut to open IDE would be nice :D (past was Cmd+E, but any would work)
My daughter, Liana (11), is doing a "Math Teach-a-thon" to raise money for the Homeless Garden Project by teaching kids competition math for free in small groups of 2-4. If you'd like to encourage her and support @HomelessGrdnPrj, read more here: https://t.co/WLRCaWn1Dg
I've written up some resources and information for those interested in doing a PhD in Tech4Good (things to watch/read, what we look for, etc.). I will also do an info session for interested students. Info and RSVP here: https://t.co/gyAJgDjgEU
I'm recruiting a PhD student in HCI/social computing next year :) If you’re interested in designing & building collaborative human-AI systems for education, work, or communities, please apply! See this talk for a big picture view of our interests: https://t.co/yA2fNav7Ev
I am recruiting a PhD student in HCI/social computing to join @Tech4Good_UCSC in Fall 2023! If you’re interested in designing & building collaborative systems to support education, work, or community engagement, please apply! Here's a snapshot of ongoing projects :)
Looking forward to connecting with old and new friends at #CSCW2023! So glad to have already met many in today's collaboration/complex work workshop. Great job to @evey_huang@kapil__g for facilitating! :)
I'm recruiting a PhD student in HCI/social computing next year! If you’re interested in designing & building collaborative systems for education, work, or communities, I’ll have an info session on 9/21 and 12/13 @ 10am PST. RSVP and I’ll share a Zoom: https://t.co/k3fq9Ogl4x
📢 Exciting news for researchers! 🌟 Join the doctoral consortium at the combined @ci_acm and HCOMP conference for an unparalleled opportunity.
Enhance your academic value and contribute to advancing #HumanComputation, #Crowdsourcing, and #ComputationalIntelligence.
Congrats Dr. Rivera @veronrivera! Truly an amazing thesis. It's been an honor to be your advisor and see you thrive :) Looking forward to all the amazing work you'll be doing and the impact you'll have in your postdoc and career!
