@codaamok I've always told folks to develop the most robust detection method you can for a given app. Even back to the start of the app model in CM. Combine PID, existence of a file with a specific version or greater, etc...
Great #MSIgnite live (and recorded) session on Windows Updates being delivered by my friend @jandreacola right now! Check it out!! I feel like I know a famous person:-)

If you're convinced you need Hybrid Join I have a shameless plug for you: Our session on Thursday might change your mind! #MMSBeach@mmsmoa@managed_blog
@mmsmoa@PatchMyPC@SetupConfigMgr Thank you all for putting on a great reception tonight! I got to meet so many interesting people and my wife and son had a great time too! Such a wonderful thing you all do for the community!!
What I think is the final deck revision for "Running away from WSUS" with the great @jandreacola and @Hoorge uploaded! So thankful for the opportunity! @mmsmoa#MMSMiami
@AdamGrossTX No requirement at all. It was that way before the pandemic.
We're invited in every few months or so for various get togethers. Helps maintain the culture, I think.
Of course! I just expense the travel and try to keep it reasonable since it's on the company dime.
@TroyMartinNet @miketerrill@EphingPosh@thijslecomte@kaidja I did replace the bezel on mine to be up-to-date. For some time now it's had the dark Orange bezel from the UK rather than the horrid US Cingular scheme...
@AdamGrossTX If a naming template is specified in the AP profile then the device must restart and does so as soon as it downloads the profile. Without it the device would still be DESKTOP-... Also, it's how you know the device downloaded the profile!
@pamelarosiedee Work instance of the authenticator has all the 2FA set up for our clients so it seemed like the most important to get back up fast. Sure would be nice though to get my personal stuff back up without having to do a bunch of resets:-)
@pamelarosiedee This is important to me because I keep all my personal passwords in the personal version that I would need/want to keep even if I for some reason left the company but I cannot back them up because I have the work version set to back up.
@acjuelich @cfullerMVP I can attest that my 60" Gravely is indeed well built. Even in 2013 it was also made by Ariens but seems way over-built. Fully welded (not stamped) deck that has to weigh 300lbs by itself. Air ride seat is something I didn't think I needed but so nice.. Great mower!
