Every day that goes by without Congress passing a full-year spending bill is another day lost to expand cancer research to #ProtectCancerCures. @LeaderJohnThune and @SenatorRounds, please commit to protecting and increasing lifesaving cancer research funding.

Important reading! @AmericanCancer@rlsiegel25 talks to @BusinessInsider about the high financial cost of young adults getting #cancer. A cancer diagnosis could cost that person $250,000 over a lifetime! https://t.co/BczJhRWDlx
Over the last 5 years, ACA marketplace insurance enrollment increased 157% in red states and 36% in blue states. It’s these Americans that are likely to lose their insurance if Republicans don’t do something about the expiring tax credits.

Details are still to come on "Big Beautiful Bill's" impact on Medicaid, but early indications are that the law will cut federal aid to health care by $1 trillion over the next decade.

Today, the U.S. Senate passed a bill that will kick nearly 12 million off health coverage—the majority of whom are on #Medicaid—and make it more difficult and expensive to obtain and keep health insurance.

Republicans are currently in the “how much should we cut from Medicaid” phase of debate with one side saying “a historic amount of cuts” and the other side saying “even more than that.”
It’s remarkable how much of the debate about Medicaid cuts is now about hospitals and a rural hospital fund to placate critics and appear to soften the blow, not the millions of people who will lose coverage or find it unaffordable. Some will lose SNAP benefits at the same time.
The cost of health care is hurting everyone. But instead of working to lower health care costs, Congress is moving a bill forward that will increase costs for everyone, even those with private insurance.

Without #Medicaid, Josh would have faced financial ruin from his cancer diagnosis.
Senators are debating a bill that kicks nearly 11 million people off insurance. These cuts will be paid for on the backs of cancer patients like Josh. Urge them to vote NO: https://t.co/y8mSaMkid0
