@Haasnaain@ButtFartCrimson@knowpium@hourly_shitpost Of course I’m all for believing and funding „science”, I guess you mean in the medical field in this context. Any rational human is. The problem is when people say they „don’t trust the science” it’s that medical institutions are corrupted, and cannot be trusted.
@Haasnaain@ButtFartCrimson@knowpium@hourly_shitpost That wasn't explicitly an „anti-vax argument" — I was calling out his bullshit that vaccinations were responsible for saving all those lives.
Secondly, it's impossible to argue with you because of how vaguely you throw around the term „science". „Anti-science" for science"..?
@ButtFartCrimson@knowpium@hourly_shitpost Before vaccines, or even antibiotics (to prove a point) modern indoor plumbing, sewage systems fundamentally changed survival of babies. Obstetric care and access to good nutrition helped too. In industrialized countries the mortality rate dropped enormously in just decades.
@TrollingCanuck There’s no fucking chance that child has developed properly after that woman blasted that much TRT throughout the pregnancy. Hooly shit.
@litgood@greg_price11 Yep exactly. It’s all just back and forth yap. Unless we literally see mass executions of politicians and public officials for treason and/or crimes against humanity, I’m not interested. Only capital punishment can change anything. Otherwise it’s all useless.
