Congratulations to Labour for winning a seat they already held, so they can unseat the very leader who won them all the seats they hold. Is there a German word for this form of self-indulgent suicide?
Just a reminder to @AngelaRayner
Remember when Rishi overthrew Boris and how you said we should have a general election?
I hope you will stand by the same set of morals you had then if @AndyBurnhamGM overthrows Keir Starmer and call for Andy Burnham to call a general election as you wouldn't want to be called a hypocrite right?
🚨🗣️NEW: Zlatan Ibrahimović on FIFA’s new mouth-covering red card rule: as Almiron was given a red card for covering his mouth in the game between Paraguay and Turkey
“I have seen football at its highest level, the real football. Not this watered-down version they are serving us now. What happened with Almirón? A straight red card for covering his mouth? This is not football anymore. This is a circus run by bureaucrats in suits who have never felt the fire of the pitch.”
“Covering your mouth is now a red card? What is this, Big Brother on the field? FIFA wants to read lips, punish thoughts before they even become words. Next they will put muzzles on players like dogs. Players cannot even talk, cannot even breathe passion without some VAR robot or referee deciding your emotions are illegal. This is dystopian. Football is dying.”
“This rule was born because some players cry every week. One incident in the Champions League and suddenly the whole world must change. But elbow a man, break his leg, or spit — sometimes you get a yellow and a pat on the back. Two-tier football. Protect the protected, punish the rest. I have played in every league and I have seen it.”
On the softness of the modern game:
“Maradona would be sent off in the tunnel. Roy Keane? He would laugh at the referee and walk off with a smile while the stands burn. Pepe would have collected five reds before half-time. Today? Players are becoming actors, not warriors. They fall, they cry, they hide behind rules. Where is the masculinity? Where is the character? Football is not ballet. It is war. And they are turning it into a polite conversation with red cards as punctuation.”
“I, Zlatan, have scored goals that made stadiums shake and said things that made opponents tremble — without hiding. This generation is being raised soft. If you cannot handle words on the pitch, how will you handle life? FIFA is not protecting football. They are burying it. And one day, the real fans will rise and say: enough. Bring back the game.”
Just to remind these same folk:
You’ve not lifted 1/2m kids out of poverty. You’ve just moved them over a bureaucratic line on a Whitehall spreadsheet.
Your ‘workers rights’ are destroying entry-level jobs, hitting young people disproportionately, where unemployment is now over 16%.
You have not transformed the NHS. It’s still the same old wheezing leviathan, just with a lot more dosh and still dismal productivity.
And you’ve nationalised steel and rail before. It was not the prelude to an economic or industrial miracle. Plus you will now have to include their demands for capital/subsidies among all the other priorities already crowding in on the public purse.
Other than that your reminder was useful. Thank you.
Keir Starmer doesn’t know how VPNs work.
David Lammy doesn’t know how the court system works.
Rachel Reeves doesn’t know how the economy works.
None of them knows what a woman is.
Not exactly Britain’s brightest and best.
Totally out of her depth when it comes to matters of geopolitical importance. The Kremlin must be shaking its head in disbelief that she’s allowed out to address such issues.
America is building rockets that can go to Mars and is taking AI to new levels.
Meanwhile, in Britain, our Government is banning underfloor heating and wants to regulate our use of towel rails.
I despair for our future under these student socialist imbeciles.
Meet Athika Ahmed, 23.
She’s just been appointed Health Ambassador and dietitian for Wales.
£9,000 a month.
To give health advice.
She’s morbidly obese.
This is the United Kingdom in 2026.
Completely insane.
“Either the Prime Minister or the Chancellor has to resign.”
That’s not Nigel Farage, not some backbench “hard right” MP– it’s Lord Dannatt, former head of the British Army, spelling out how serious this defence betrayal is.
A PM begs for money to plug a £28bn hole in the forces, the Chancellor refuses, and Labour’s answer is… to brief the lobby, kick the can to 2027, and hope nobody notices while the Army shrinks and threats grow.
If Starmer can’t overrule his own Chancellor on something as basic as keeping the country safe, he’s not “grown‑up”, he’s a bystander in his own government – and Dannatt is right: one of them has to go. Or ideally both.
They spent £12 billion raising 2-child benefits cap (for mostly foreign parents) to buy votes.
Now they have run out of money for defence.
We remove these clowns or we completely fail as a nation.
Peter Kyle: the plan is great
Naga Munchetty: have you seen the plan?
Kyle: no
Munchetty: So how do you know its great?
Peter Kyle: "Because I have faith in a PM.. to fund the plan & design a plan & lead a plan, of course & he is the PM that is fit for the moment we're in"
When the Defence Secretary quits because he thinks the Prime Minister is making the country less safe, how can Starmer possibly survive?
His govt is collapsing before our eyes. He should resign.
Dan Norris is under investigation for sex offences including possible child abduction and rape. @carolvorders
CAROL VORDERMAN’S STUNNING HYPOCRISY!
Carol Vorderman loves lecturing the public about political misconduct and bad behaviour. But when the scandal explodes in her own camp, she goes completely silent.
She aggressively campaigned for Dan Norris in the 2024 election, pushing hard to get him elected in North East Somerset and Hanham, then celebrated his victory.
Now Norris is suspended by Labour and under police investigation for adult rape, sexual assault, and voyeurism.
If this was a Reform UK MP, she’d be demanding resignations, posting non-stop attacks, and screaming for blood. Yet for the man she helped put in Parliament? Total silence. No apology to voters.
No outrage.
You can’t pose as a champion for women and a moral crusader while shielding your own allies from scrutiny. The hypocrisy is disgusting.
Time to address it, Carol.
Isn't this you happily shaking hands with the Syrian President, Ahmed al-Sharaa, who led an Al-Qaeda linked terror group which carried out multiple beheadings? Just checking on your tolerance levels for this sort of stuff @Keir_Starmer
This is simply not true @Keir_Starmer.
You absolutely DO tolerate abhorrent scenes of violence like this attack. Just like you tolerate all the rapes and sexual assaults of women and girls by illegal migrants.
You - and most of the political class - decided long ago that these crimes are a price worth paying in return for achieving your multicultural, diverse, open bordered nirvana.
So don't pretend to be shocked and don't wring your hands in sadness. This is the predictable (and predicted) result of the policies YOU support.
Keir Starmer Boasts About Giving Away 10 Million Free Breakfasts
“We’ve just hit another really important milestone. 10 million free breakfasts at our free breakfast clubs. And that’s bringing families and children together across the country.”
They’re not free though, are they? They’re paid for by hard-working taxpayers.
While families struggle with high taxes, energy bills, and the cost of living, Keir Starmer is celebrating 10 million free school breakfasts, that’s likely £20–30 million and rising, taken straight from our pockets.
Why exactly should people grinding away at work every day be forced to subsidise breakfast for kids who aren’t theirs?
Parents have a responsibility to feed their own children.
This isn’t “investing in the next generation” it’s expanding the welfare state and normalising the idea that the government (i.e. you and me) should pick up the tab for basic parenting.
If we keep going down this road, what’s next? Free dinners, free holidays, free everything? Enough. Taxpayers aren’t bottomless ATMs.
