@SaraaHolland 100% intentional. You can see him look down the ice at the officials before he does it. Should have been at least 4 minutes. Combined with the missed high stick, refs were not good at the end of the period.
@corylav The defense in this game has been horrible. Going behind the net to double the puck and leaving a player wide open for a pass in front of the net. Leaving the middle of the ice to double a guy on the boards, leaving middle wide open. Absolutely stunning!!
@SethDavisHoops I believe it has a better chance of holding up in anti-trust court than the current, rather haphazard eligibility rules. Ties participation in a "college" sport to the typical length of time it takes to earn a "college" degree. It would definitely be tested in court.
@murphsturph From what I have read, LDS athletes and those who go to the military route would be accommodated. I think they have to work out how it would apply to international athletes, but I generally like this idea. It ties eligibility to the typical length of time to earn a degree.
@primetimeMitch Correct. I and all of the other photographers in the area were not at all pleased with the Gazelle Group's policy. The Gazelle Group's concerns about potential copyright infringement could be easily solved if they hire their own photographer for the events.
@katcampbellwx It's 6:15 in North Raleigh and nothing is falling from the sky at my house. This has been the worst snow day ever. For years we will remember the Great Dry Slot of 2026.
@mckenzielaw Wonderful analysis. Thank you for taking the time to post your thoughts on the details of what the Big might usher into college sports. In my view, it is an unfortunate step in the wrong direction for college sports.
@JordanCrammer@WNCN Congratulations on a wonderful television career!! It has been great getting to know you the past couple of years and I am looking forward to what you do next.
@MarkPacker Congratulations on a great career! I have enjoyed your takes over the years and I will miss your insight - particularly as it relates to the ACC. As a fellow Davie High School alum and lover of Lexington BBQ (ie., Honey Monks), it made you even more relatable to me.
