@ScaryEurope I thought they DID have to pay upfront or prove they had adequate insurance. Many years ago it became a huge issue with hospitals being scammed by health tourists. Perhaps the NHS has let it slip and find that there is an issue again. Let's not forget that WE pay upfront via tax.
