Today was my first day back to work. We have 23 cases and still rising. We’ve lost 4 residents to covid this week. They were someone’s grandma/grandpa. I had to strip, shower, and disinfect everything I touched before I was able to hold my son. I’ll say it again...wear a mask.

PLEASE wear a mask. I know it sucks but most of you aren’t seeing the behind the scenes in nursing homes. People are dying without the comfort of their families by their side. Employees are overworked to the point that they’re about to drop. Your “rights” aren’t worth this.

@levi_landis19 Telling the employees that there has been a positive case in the building is not a HIPPA violation. Telling the employees who the positive case is would be a violation. Employees should be informed so that they can get tested, especially if they live around anyone who is at risk.
