That’s a wrap! The #ArlingtonISD Teacher of the Year Drive-Thru event is driving off into the sunset, but it’s never too late to thank the most influential teacher in your life or your student’s life. We deeply appreciate the work our teachers do every day!

A1: I am looking forward to more of my students coming to school...I love seeing them during Zoom, but when they are in my presence...joy fills my heart!
@JonesAcademy1@JonesAcademy1
A2: I can make my students enjoy coming to school every day! I demonstrate every day how grateful I am for them to want to be here with me and enjoy learning...making learning fun!
1) In math class, it is very essential for students to use their prior knowledge to support their comprehension because math is a subject that builds on from prior knowledge. Many students struggle due to a deficit in math foundational skills.
@joanaly5 A3: My ideal classroom would be....proactive students while being engaged at the start and the end of lessons. Students would facilitate the learning by having expert groups established. I could have more projected based learning assignments for math skills.

When teaching a lesson, more so I find the opportunity for my true personality to shine through and my humorous actions make the students enjoy learning in a more relaxed environment. #jonestlap
@tooskie@JonesAcademy1 I am going to try using Google Classroom's Stream as platform to have discussion questions about math concepts. Hopefully this will help them understand better. 😁
@Jones5th_6th @tooskie I had one also today during PLC. Being able to brainstorm with the MI team really helps when trying to integrate FA in the classroom.
