@LanceMcAlister This game reminded me of the '70s when you would have 2 good pitchers on the mound and you knew the game was gonna be a 1-0 or 2-1 game and you hoped that it was your team that won.
@MoEgger@UHInsurance01 The Reds have won 5 championships. My father was 3 yrs old when they won the first one in 1919. He took me to my 1st game when I was 3 at Crosley Field. When the Reds won in 1990, my father passed 3 yrs later. I've been alive for 3 of their championships: '75, '76, & '90.
@autyelmore@tony_pike15 there needs to be a replica of Nippert Stadium for the Bengals in the Hall of Fame (or at Paycor) where they played until Riverfront Stadium was finished. I've been to the HOF but don't remember seeing a replica for Benagals.
@autyelmore@tony_pike15 now that Hinds is with the Florida Marlins now, I guess that I'll have to wear my Hinds Cincy Shirt to the game in Miami the next time the @Reds play in Miami!๐
@autyelmore@tony_pike15@MoEgger the whole Cincinnati is Kentucky thing is about the Greater Cincinnati Airport being in Northern Kentucky. It isn't just Cleveland people saying that. I have met people who say that to me when they find out I'm from Cincy.
@MoEgger I'm one of those people that like the 76 teams because I like watching the games. Before I retired, I would take vacation time when the tournament started so I could stay home and watch the games. Besides maybe UC and/or Xavier can get back into the tournament with more teams.
@LanceMcAlister This is sooooo much fun! I'm with you: I loooove winning!!! This team is starting to remind me of the 1990 team in the way that they just fight, they pick each other up, and they never give up.
@autyelmore .ike from LA is so right about the weather. When I was young, Cincinnati weather didn't bother me. Now that I'm in my 70s, I want no part of Cincinnati's crazy weather. It's why I live in Central Florida away from the coastal hurricanes.
