Republicans love to point fingers — but when it came to Trump, Roy Moore, and Matt Gaetz, they defended the indefensible. Don’t pretend your side is somehow above it. Spare me the whataboutism. Call it what it is. The GOP protected their abusers.
Republicans are having a field day with the Platner controversy.
The party of Donald Trump, Roy Moore, Herschel Walker, and Todd Akin should probably sit this one out.
Fox News had a meltdown today when I brought up Donald Trump’s many abuses against women and asked why the Republican Party refuses to police its own when it comes to domestic and sexual abuse.
🚨 ALERT: This just blew up.

Rep. Tim Burchett is raising serious allegations about what’s happening inside Congress.
He claims lawmakers have been benefiting financially in ways that raise major questions.
“For years… people in power have been getting rich.”
That line is hitting hard.
Now the focus shifts to transparency — and accountability.
This is a conversation that isn’t going away.
“She went to private school and married a real estate developer 32 years older than her.”
Nashville’s @montemader on Trump’s Secretary of Lying Karolie saying Gen Z is lazy and were “raised with a silver spoon in their mouths getting everything handed to them”🤔
HOLY SH*T:
Florida Gubernatorial candidate, Byron Donalds, has just been accused of cornering and assaulting a woman, Kelly Mason, in a grocery store and threatening to "crush" her.
The woman's terrified daughter secretly recorded the entire incident.
Kelly Mason is now pressing charges on Byron Donalds.
Drop out, @ByronDonalds.
A Midland citizen went to City Hall requesting paperwork.
He sat inside the public building for an extended period speaking with Strategic Communications Director Stewart Doreen. The footage appears to show that he never raised his voice, never became violent, and was not told what crime he had committed.
Then a Midland Police Department officer arrived.
She issued commands, placed her hands on him, and ultimately pepper-sprayed him inside City Hall.
He was taken outside in handcuffs, transported to the hospital, and reportedly handcuffed to a hospital bed. He has a heart condition and had expressed concern about being forced outside into the extreme heat.
After officials reviewed the footage and saw that he had not been acting belligerently, he was released with no charges.
No identified crime. No charges. Yet a citizen requesting paperwork from his government ended up pepper-sprayed, handcuffed, and hospitalized.
What lawful justification was there for this use of force?

Republicans went completely batshit when Lloyd Austin took three days to notify the White House about his emergency hospitalization - but when it’s been over three weeks and Mitch McConnell’s condition is still a mystery - not a fucking word.
Hey Republicans: We found that VOTER FRAUD y'all have been obsessing over.
But it wasn't an undocumented immigrant.
It was former Texas AG Ken Paxton.
So, you'll be holding him accountable, right?🙄
