Our journey began with a simple yet profound purpose: to create lasting change in society. We are a micro-consultancy with a social purpose. Our ActionInSight framework means our needs assessments never sit on a shelf gathering dust. They generate action and impact.
We are supporting West #Northamptonshire Council to understand the needs of local residents who have experienced #domesticabuse. If you or someone you know lives or works in the area please help us hear from local people.
Domestic abuse can affect anyone of any age, but we know people over 50 may be less likely to seek help. If you have experienced harmful behaviour, we want to hear from you.
Please complete our survey to help shape how we support people in future - https://t.co/LPCmJgBG9l
I welcome @Keir_Starmer as Prime Minister.
He brings great expertise in tackling #DomesticAbuse and secured vital changes for victims while at @CPSUK
I am ready to work together to halve violence against women and girls, and create a safer future.
Respect in politics is the cornerstone to preventing abuse, harassment and intimidation. We worked with the LGA to create a tool for councils to self assess their response which launched today: https://t.co/x8qqfzZfYb
Nine years ago today, Jo Cox made her maiden speech in Parliament as MP for Batley and Spen.
From 21-23 June, over what would have been Jo’s 50th birthday, #GreatGetTogether events around the UK will celebrate her message:
"We have more in common than that which divides us."💜
We're proud of the toolkit we developed with the @LGAcomms was launched today. This comprehensive resource is designed to help councils tackle abuse and intimidation, ensuring a safer environment for our councillors. #LocalGov#DebateNotHate#GeneralElection2024#safety
We have launched our ending abuse in public life council self-assessment toolkit.
This resource is designed to aid councils in tackling abuse and intimidation that councillors may encounter as part of their role. #DebateNotHate

Launched today - Pleased to have supported the @LGAcomms to develop this really important toolkit for councils to self-assess their approach to supporting councillors with abuse and intimidation. Given the upcoming election, all councils should be thinking about this.
TacticTuesday: Don't just collect data—collect intelligence. Stakeholder analysis, learning questions, and methodological design are the keys to unlocking actionable insights for your #NeedsAssessment. #ActionInSight#DataIntelligence
#TacticTuesday: Quantitative data can't tell the whole story for your #NeedsAssessment. Embrace qualitative methods like observations and listening exercises to capture the nuances and complexities of the issues you're assessing. #QualitativeData#HolisticApproach
#TacticTuesday: Your learning questions are the compass for your #needsassessment. Let them guide you to the best methods for gathering insights. From surveys to listening exercises, choose the approaches that uncover the most meaningful data. #LearningQuestions#DataInsights
#TacticTuesday: Who, what, how—three simple questions with profound implications for your #needsassessment. Engage diverse stakeholders, frame focused learning questions, and choose the right methods for intelligent data collection. #DataCollection#StrategicPlanning
Don't leave your needs assessment to chance. Prepare for success with the data collection triad: stakeholder analysis, learning questions, and methodological design. #TacticTuesday#DataCollectionTriad
I’ve fixed it. This is what we actually want. An ambition for us to feel safe whilst we’re actually the opposite is playing in to the ‘overly emotional women’ narrative/borderline gaslighting. To make us actually safe, your focus needs to stretch beyond CCTV/more police.
Thank you for this work @NeemaBegum. We are developing a toolkit with the LGA currently to help councils support Cllrs experiencing abuse - for female Cllrs from minoritised communities we have to recognise how these forms of abuse intersect.
Increasing numbers of ethnic minority women in elected office should not mask the intersections of racism and sexism they face. This raises the question of how we support and retain ethnic minority women in office when they are fighting different battles on multiple fronts 10/
We are working with the Local Government Association now to develop a toolkit for Councils to support Cllrs experiencing abuse. Considering the specific characteristics that might make some Cllrs more likely to experience abuse has to be part of assessing and managing risk.
The Angiolini Inquiry uncovers the failures that led to the tragic abduction, rape & murder of Sarah Everard.
Today, we are accepting its recommendations in full.
We’ve made strides in removing unfit officers - but there’s more to be done.

#TacticTuesday Take a #holistic approach to #datacollection. Consider experiences, perspectives, and contexts to gain a deeper understanding of the issues at hand. We have data gathering #checklists to help you make the most of this stage of your #NeedsAssessment.
#TacticTuesday: Qualitative data adds nuance to understanding. Dive into experiences, perspectives, & contexts for a comprehensive view. E.g in @Torbay_Council we conducted in depth interviews with 25 #survivors. Their stories shaped how we interpreted #quantitative service data.
#TacticTuesday is focussing on gathering data. Context matters, you need to zoom out, as issues don't exist in a vacuum. Real example when assessing #domesticabuse in @WestBerkshire we had to consider local data on the rurality of the area, as a unique factor. #ContextualData
Starting our Tuesday off at @WestBerkshire#domesticabuse partnership board to present their final strategy. Really pleased with feedback from partners which welcomed how our work has synthesised a complex strategy area in to a clear, concise and actionable #strategy.
