"What's it like to have 40,000 people boo you?" 😅
Jordan Walker stuns the Philly crowd after winning the Home Run Derby over Kyle Schwarber in clutch fashion 🔥
They left home as boys 8 decades ago to go out and save the world. Last night they sat at the WWII Memorial together and celebrated their country's 250th. Still heroic.
This is the most reasonable, factual, & respectful take I’ve heard regarding the Alex Pretti Border Patrol shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Take a few minutes & give it a listen.
I’m fine with owners doing whatever they want to make more money. That’s how they’re all wired regardless of how much they/their families are worth. I can hate that it’s always about money but it’s reality. Just be honest. Don’t lie and try to placate the fans with platitudes.
Loudest outdoor stadium in the world, gritty environment with some of the most passionate fans in the NFL, and a legendary stadium all tossed aside to host some bigger events and to make more money. And that was how they thanked the best fanbase in the league
Went to Arrowhead for the first time this year and I couldn’t help but think how much better it would been to be inside a lifeless trillion dollar artificial spaceship that’s more apt for large concerts and events
Kansas City @MayorLucasKC recently said that if the Kansas City Chiefs were to leave Arrowhead, it “would have no reflection on the outstanding people of Kansas City and Jackson County.”
Mr. Mayor....do you honestly believe that?
Because here’s the reality, no matter how much spin gets layered on top of it.
One of the most iconic franchises in NFL history leaves on your watch.
Yes, this situation was complicated.
Yes, negotiations were messy.
And yes, now-former Jackson County Executive Frank White Jr. played a significant role in turning this into a slow-motion disaster.
Frank White’s leadership failures, mixed messaging, and inability to build trust with voters and stakeholders absolutely contributed to this mess.
But here’s the part that can’t be ignored:
You failed to hold him accountable.
Leadership isn’t just about managing your own lane.
It’s about confronting dysfunction when it threatens the city’s future.
Instead of publicly demanding clarity, urgency, and alignment from the county, you allowed confusion, infighting, and political paralysis to fester while the clock kept ticking. The state of Kansas was fully aligned from the get go while Missouri bumble-fucked this.
And now we’re here.
With news that the Chiefs leave KCMO for KCKS, it means:
• A franchise tied for 5th all-time in Super Bowls won left Kansas City, Missouri
• The most iconic stadium in the NFL lost its team
• Billions in economic impact, tourism, and civic identity walked out the door, crossed the river and set up shop on the side of the border, 23 miles from its roots.
And it all happened during your tenure.
This isn’t about effort.
This isn’t about intent.
This isn’t about how hard the situation was.
Outcomes matter. Period.
History doesn’t remember who was difficult to work with. It remembers who was in charge when the loss occurred.
You can point to Frank White.
You can point to the county.
You can point to the Chiefs and Royals.
You can point to politics.
But leadership means ownership.
And with the Chiefs leaving, fair or not, justified or not...
You will be remembered as the mayor who failed to stop it.
The mayor who let Arrowhead’s legacy evaporate.
The mayor who watched the crown jewel slip away without forcing accountability when it mattered most.
That’s not spin.
That’s legacy.
And you will be forever re-named from Mayor Q to Mayor "L" because that is exactly what you will be known as.
The Loser of the Chiefs.
There is an ideology that has steadily been growing in this country which hates everything that is good, righteous and beautiful and celebrates everything that is warped, twisted and depraved. It is an ideology at war with family and nature. It is envious, malicious, and soulless. It is an ideology that looks upon the perfect family with bitter rage while embracing the serial criminal with tender warmth. Its adherents organize constantly to tear down and destroy every mark of grace and beauty while lifting up everything monstrous and foul. It is an ideology that leads, always, inevitably and willfully, to violence — violence against those uphold order, who uphold faith, who uphold family, who uphold all that is noble and virtuous in this world. It is an ideology whose one unifying thread is the insatiable thirst for destruction.
We see the workings of this ideology in every posting online cheering the evil assassination that cruelly robbed this nation of one of its greatest men. Postings from those in positions of institutional authority — educators, healthcare workers, therapists, government employees — reveling in the vile and the sinister with the most chilling glee.
The fate of millions depends upon the defeat of this wicked ideology. The fate of our children, our society, our civilization hinges on it.
Now we devote ourselves, with love and unyielding determination, to finishing the indispensable work to which Charlie bravely devoted his life and gave his last measure of devotion.
Thank you for your strong witness for Christ @charliekirk11. Thank you for pursuing truth and leading your family as a husband and father. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
Happy Memorial Day, America.
Today we salute and remember the more than 1 million heroes who died for the sake of this great country, from Lexington to Normandy to Afghanistan.
