Proactive Tax Practice - My Guiding Philosophy
Over the years, I’ve learned that when it comes to Tax matters (and every other professional area) , a preventive- proactive approach will always outshine a reactive- curative one.
I firmly believe in planning ahead and doing what is right from the very beginning.
Too often, I’ve seen cases where taxpayers only seek help after things have gone wrong ; when assessments, penalties or audits are already in motion. By then, the options are limited, timelines are tight and costs are high.
That’s why I always encourage individuals and businesses to embrace Tax Health Checks, timely reviews, and strategic compliance planning.
It’s not just about fixing problems , it’s about preventing them.
It’s not about reacting to KRA , it’s about staying a step ahead.
Because in tax (and in life), prevention isn’t just better than cure , it’s smarter, safer, and far more sustainable.
@william_onono@iracltd@robertadventist@LameckOmbaba This is a great idea, because the taskforce will be manipulated we need an independent body through a competitive procurement process with specific timelines, 3 months is a lot of time.
And who will be the auditee by the way?
