Ads, trends, entertainment, outrage. All of it reaches the whole world in seconds. The gospel still hasn't. The infrastructure exists. The reach exists. Closing that gap is a choice, not a limitation. That's why we go.
When we pray for the Holy Spirit, what are we praying for?
The disciples knew exactly what they were asking for--do you? Share this post to remind a friend the Holy Spirit is at work!
As you start the week, consider what God may have in store for you. Take time each morning to ask Him to show you the good works He has planned. We believe He will answer this prayer!

Odds are, we have all fallen for rage bait, but that doesn't have to be the end of the story. Pastor Köhler shares the importance of keeping the main thing the main thing.
It's not about winning a debate, but winning a soul to Christ. Share this post today!
Some may ask why we believe as we do, keeping the seventh-day Sabbath, honoring our bodies through health principles, and living according to the Holy Bible. James White had an answer. If you agree with Mr. White, share this post!
The devil hates the Sabbath, and he will do everything and anything to get rid of it and get between you and God. Every time you keep the Sabbath, you make a declaration. God is your Creator, your Redeemer, and the One your loyalty belongs to.
Happy Sabbath.
When things seem good, circumstances can change in an instant. Nevertheless, God is forever constant and good. He holds us in the palm of His hands.
Tell Him your fears and let Scripture encourage your heart with His promises.
We have a good God!
My mother was from Uganda. She came to Kenya in the late 1970s while she was still a young girl. She built her life here, married my father, raised children and became part of the community.
If she were alive today, where would she be expected to go back to? Would she be told to leave Kenya simply because she was born in Uganda? Would she be denied the opportunity to do business and earn a living in the country where she spent most of her life? And if such a crackdown had happened in the early 2000s, would my mother have been forced to leave us behind? Who would have taken care of us?
We cannot preach African unity while turning against Africans who come to Kenya seeking nothing more than a chance to work, trade and provide for their families. Xenophobia has no place in Kenya.
If someone is in the country legally and is doing business within the law, let them compete fairly. A Burundian selling tea has not stolen your job. A Ugandan running a shop has not taken away your future. If you believe you can run a better business, compete with them. Build something better. Do not demand that another African be chased away simply because they are succeeding.
Today, if a Burundian leaves Kenya, will our lives suddenly become better? Will our youth finally get jobs? Will the cost of living go down?
This is scapegoating. We cannot blame ordinary foreign traders for problems created by poor leadership, corruption, unemployment and failed economic policies.
Instead of turning Africans against Africans, our leaders should address the real problems facing Kenyans. One person's nationality is not the reason another Kenyan is unemployed.
We cannot preach African unity while turning against Africans.
God is not finished with your story. “...'Behold, I am making all things new'...” (Revelation 21:5, ESV).

To understand a masterpiece, look to the Artist. You are God’s workmanship, made in His image (Ephesians 2:10; Genesis 1:27).
You were created with purpose. To discover who you are, start with the One who made you. 🙏

Ever felt like God was taking too long to answer your prayers? It's easy to get discouraged and lose hope when things don't happen as quickly as we want them to.
Here are a few things we can do to stay faithful and patient in our season of waiting.
Something very skewed is happening at the Kenyatta National Hospital Renal Unit, and almost nobody is talking about it. 🧵
1/ SHA covers two dialysis sessions per week at KSh10,650 per session. But at KNH, once a patient is admitted as an inpatient, they reportedly get only one covered session, while the second and third sessions must be paid for in cash.
2/ The strange part is that the same patient, at the same hospital, can receive the two covered dialysis sessions when treated as an outpatient.
3/ This means some of the sickest patients, the very people who need dialysis most urgently, are the ones whose families are being asked to raise cash for additional sessions.
4/ Families are therefore being pushed into a brutal position where delays can mean worsening fluid overload and other serious complications simply because they cannot immediately raise another KSh10,000 or more.
5/ @MOH_Kenya@SHA_Kenya, this is not what Universal Health Coverage was supposed to look like. Dialysis is not an elective procedure that patients can casually postpone.
Separate dialysis from the inpatient per diem arrangement and allow admitted renal patients to access their full SHA dialysis entitlement, including the eight sessions available each month.
