My 12 year old niece is courageously battling cancer. I’m once again riding 300 miles and raising money in her honor. Please help! https://t.co/ZDgVnHH9Ye
Thank you to the Essex County Club team for hosting us and to The @GolfersJournal@coynewriter@RobbieVogel14@fostermccune22 and team for cultivating a community that transcends the game of golf. These experiences prove that a brand is not just something you sell—when executed correctly, it’s something you feel, remember, and return to again and again. Rain or shine, @davisory and I can’t wait for the next event! #BTS #TGJ
My niece is in a multi-year battle with B-cell ALL. Cancer is a horrible thing, and I've been riding for 15 years to try to do a small part in delivering critical life-saving dollars to @DanaFarber. Please consider a small donation and help save lives: https://t.co/ZDgVnHH9Ye
The facade is crumbling for the Bidens. Just a reality… the cover-ups, corruption. Its all starting to be exposed and I hope they keep digging.
Let’s get some real candidates for 2024. Trump and Biden are not it folks.
A handful of ways you can quickly learn a lot about someone:
1. How they treat service workers
2. How they react to being in traffic
3. How they react to other people's good news
4. How they put their weights back at the gym
5. How they talk about other people when not with them
Remote work is terrible for 100% of ambitious people.
Right now we’re trying to hire a bunch of sales people, and I want them right here in Austin, Texas.
I want them,
- in our office
- around the founders
- talking with each other
- interacting with leadership
- learning through osmosis
Everyone talks about how great remote company cultures are, but I think the argument is more nuanced.
If you’re someone who plans to advance their career at a steady pace or has other priorities in life, remote work is great.
But for people who want to level up themselves as fast as possible, you need to work in person at a fast paced company..
I believe an employee’s learning velocity increases 10X in person vs. remote.
In physics, Velocity = speed + direction
And it’s the same in business.
Every little interaction is a learning opportunity.
- Every talk with the founder
- Every coaching call with the manager
- Every team brainstorm with their peers
The quality and number of these interactions is radically higher with in-person work cultures.
Also, remote cultures are not good at giving young ambitious employees the opportunity to watch and learn from experienced people.
Every high performer has watched what someone else has done to accelerate their learning.
If you want to be a winner, you need to see what winning looks like.
You need to be surrounded by winners.
There is no such thing as an artist like Picasso having an apprentice that was remote.
Every great person has learned from great people before them, and it’s usually happened in person.
Finally, I hope you enjoyed this short lesson!

Everyone is laughing at America with Biden at the helm. They are going to put Hunter in jail and only a matter of time before someone rolls on “The Big Guy”
@LoraMae1940@OccupyDemocrats Respectfully you have good points until the end. I don’t think Trump loves America and Americans, I think he loves Trump. He’s narcissistic & dangerous. And yet, he’s still better than the guy in office now, unfortunately. When will we present better candidates on both sides?
