After 9 years of living abroad and 2 years of working on Georgia from the UK, I now went back to Tbilisi - and I will stay here to witness Georgia's transition back to democracy.
@RNRenewal@Mikiashvili_M Hi. Creator of GD watch here. Other parties and the rest of us don't have anti-US sentiments. When in government, we will work with the US administration for the benefit of both American and Georgian people.
We started a petition to help detained 22-year-old Canadian citizen, Simon.
The message is - the current government doesn't care about people with ADHD or any people for that matter, nor do they care about county's international reputation.
We care. We don't think people should go to jail because their medicine receipt isn't apostilled - and we think people should be free to visit Georgia.
I am starting a Substack where I want to document not what the GD regime does to oppress us, but what do we do to resist. First few posts are already live - would appreciate if you subscribe.

Victorious day for ImediWatch team and the entire civil society of Georgia - Georgia's propaganda channels are sanctioned by 🇬🇧 and the website of hybrid warfare machine is down. For months, Georgians demanded a strong response - and we got it today. We will win.
Davit Jintcharadze's bank accounts were frozen today, January 20.
Apparently, he had a "fine" that nobody informed him about.
His real crime? Fundraising for regime prisoners.

@Mikiashvili_M And when will these people understand that the OG color revolution in Georgia was a 100% good thing. If they are so against it maybe they shouldn't be using electricity since that was one of the byproducts of the revolution.
🇬🇪 Georgia’s democracy is under assault.
GD is trying to ban pro-European parties and criminalize opposition.
We call on the EU, UK & US to:
⭕️ Sanction Ivanishvili & Kobakhidze
⭕️ Pass the MEGOBARI Act
⭕️ Suspend engagement with the regime
⭕️ Recognize Georgia’s democratic Resistance Unity.
Georgia’s place is Europe — not Moscow. Stand with the people of Georgia.
Glad to talk not about just October 4 elections, but importantly how do we move forward from here - as this is the most important question we are facing as a country.
🗳️ New Op-Ed: Georgian Elections – Unpacking the Fallout of 4th October by @DavitJi
Georgia’s recent local elections saw record-low turnout, a partial opposition boycott, and renewed concerns over electoral integrity.

On July 24, 2025, Georgia’s Anti-Corruption Bureau chief Razhden Kuprashvili told reporters there were “no violations” in Irakli Garibashvili’s asset declarations. Exactly three months later, on October 24, Garibashvili was charged with large-scale money laundering.
Kuprashvili, appointed by Garibashvili in February 2023, had one job: to detect corruption. Instead, he targets NGOs with repression.
So who should really be under investigation? #Georgia
We have just created ImediWatch - an AI tool that tracks and translates Russian propaganda from the infamous TV Imedi channel. Hopefully, this will help fasten the decisions to sanction TV Imedi and other propaganda channels. Link: https://t.co/jdH1D6jqj3
The bribes are connected to the Philippines. As a reminder, GD used the company to organise electronic elections in Georgia back in 2024. The majority of observers, the 5th president, and the opposition consider these elections to be neither free nor fair, with official results differing from the exit polls by 15% in favour of GD.
Who would have thought: Smartmatic, a company that the Georgian Dream party used to implement rigged elections in Georgia, is facing bribery charges in the US Federal Court. We are talking about $1 million in bribes.
Finland's @elinavaltonen has shown all the world leaders a masterclass - this is what you do with the autocratic regime in Georgia: you support protest, you don't shake hands with dictators, and you support the idea of Europe. Thank you, our Nordic friends! 🇫🇮
