Wondering why the EU keeps holding so many meetings?
A. To discuss enlargement.
B. To discuss connectivity.
C. To make sure Georgia isn’t invited.
🤡 According to Ivanishvili’s Foreign Minister, it’s C - Maka Bochorishvili today claimed that the EU is repeatedly organizing meetings on enlargement and connectivity largely to exclude #Georgia and create a one-day political agenda inside the country.
🇬🇪@GYLA_CSO has won cases concerning Giorgi Antsukhelidze and other Georgian military personnel against the russian federation in The European Court of Human Rights
Ivanishvili’s Judge Giorgi Gelashvili has delivered the final verdict for seven people arrested in the October 4 case.

Do you want to understand current Georgia? Think of this: The former chief of anti-corruption bureau Razhden Kuprahvili is currently a defense attorney for former deputy chief of State Security Service Levan Akhobadze, who is accused of bribery.
It has been more than a month since children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and their parents first started pleading with the government to provide them with life-saving medication.
Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness due to the lack of a protein called dystrophin. It typically begins in early childhood and gradually leads to difficulties with walking and movement, eventually affecting heart and respiratory functions.
Although an effective medicine exists and is approved by numerous countries and international organizations, and is readily provided to children across the developed world, the government still refuses to fund it to save these children's lives. A total of 50 million GEL (approximately €16 million) is needed. Furthermore, these children urgently require essential equipment such as wheelchairs and ventilators, which the state also fails to provide.
Since the government remains indifferent, students from Ilia State University have taken matters into their own hands to raise the necessary funds. They have been live on Facebook for 48 hours now, marathon-streaming to raise money for the children’s needs.
You can watch and support the Facebook Live on this page: https://t.co/e6DHiu8B88
So far, 500,000 GEL (approximately €162,000) has been raised. Every single euro counts and will go directly toward providing these children with the vital support the state denies them.

In Russia, a similar system was created under the name of “combating extremism.” Officially, the goal was public safety, but in practice, the state used vague concepts against critical voices.
Over the years, accusations of “extremism” in Russia have been used to pressure opposition figures, journalists, NGOs, bloggers, and ordinary citizens over posts written on social media.

A new milestone for humankind: The crew of Artemis II are now the farthest any human has ever travelled, reaching a maximum distance of 252,752 miles from Earth.
This surpasses the previous record set by Apollo 13 in 1970 by about 4,102 miles.
#GeorgiaProtests - On April 4, World Stray Animals Day, citizens, animal rights defenders, and activists gathered near the Government Administration building.
The protesters are demanding answers from the authorities and the National Food Agency regarding the mass disappearance of stray animals.
JUST IN: the OSCE fact-finding mission (Moscow Mechanism) report on Georgia is to be published today.
A brief summary according to @GeorgeBurj, one of the most reputable people to interpret the document:
According to the OSCE report, the situation in Georgia is so grave that all possible international mechanisms concerned with human rights should be activated.
This includes:
1. Referring to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague to initiate an investigation;
2. Interstate application by states to the European Court of Human Rights;
3. Interstate dispute proceedings in the UN Torture Tribunal or the UN Court of Justice;
4. Universal jurisdiction over individual violators;
5. Targeted sanctions to hold individuals accountable.
And other mechanisms!

#TerrorinGeorgia everyday brings a new step. Prime Minister Kobakhidze announcing new laws extending indictments to newly formed political parties . Arrests of peaceful protesters continue … no peace without justice!
#TerrorinGeorgia - David Chkheidze, a former diplomat who left public service after Georgian Dream halted Georgia’s EU integration process, said on Facebook Live that police stopped him after he left a protest and asked him to take a drug test.
A few minutes later, officers returned claiming the rapid test was “positive” and took him in for further examination, while he was with his wife and children.
The repeat test later came back negative and he was released.
It raises serious questions: Was this meant to intimidate activists, or were they preparing grounds to plant drugs?
What also mattered was the public response - it’s 2AM in Georgia, yet people quickly gathered at the narcology clinic in solidarity until he was released.
A major breakthrough for Georgia’s pro-Western opposition 🇬🇪
Nine pro-Western opposition parties have come together to form a united alliance, agreeing on a shared strategy and coordinated action.
The new coalition - “Unity for Victory” - brings together: Girchi - More Freedom, Droa, Ahali party, Federalists, Freedom Square, United National Movement, European Georgia, Strategy Aghmashenebeli, and National Democratic Party.
A significant moment of consolidation for #Georgia’s pro-European political spectrum.
As a result of 🇬🇧 sanctions related to the spread of Russian disinformation, the Imedi TV websites, the main propaganda outlet of Georgian Dream, are no longer accessible. It is likely that their American hosting provider has suspended their services. #Georgia
Court is in session in the so-called “sabotage” case against Georgian opposition leaders. Prosecutors accuse former President Mikheil Saakashvili, Giorgi Vashadze, Nika Gvaramia, Nika Melia, Zurab (Girchi) Japaridze, Elene Khoshtaria, Mamuka Khazaradze, and Badri Japaridze of assisting a foreign power in hostile activities. Some are already imprisoned on prior charges; others were recently released.
Defense lawyers demanded that Judge Tamar Makharoblidze recuse herself, citing past public praise of Georgian Dream policies and a previous public statement implying Nika Gvaramia’s guilt — which they argue violates the presumption of innocence. The judge denied the motion, saying the statements were made before she became a judge in 2024.
After arguing with defense counsel, Judge Makharoblidze removed journalists and the public from the courtroom and closed the hearing, clearing the courtroom of everyone but lawyers and the accused. If this closed format continues, the public will be unable to follow the details of this high-profile case. The judge has so far denied the motion to keep the next hearing (March 25) open.
Meanwhile, according to lawyers still attending the hearing, prosecutors requested new restrictions against Nika Gvaramia: ₾30,000 bail, a travel ban without prosecutorial permission, and confiscation of his passport and ID. The court granted the motion in full.

🇬🇪 On day 451 of #GeorgiaProtests , citizens marched from Tbilisi Philharmonic Hall to Rustaveli Avenue, carrying Georgian flags alongside those of the United States, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
A banner read: “Georgia is strong only together with its friends.”
