BREAKING: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney blindsides Trump by forming a super alliance of 40 powerful countries to defeat his disastrous MAGA agenda.
Carney has become one of Trump's most brilliant adversaries...
According to Politico, the European Union, composed of 27 nations, as well as a geopolitical bloc of 12 Indo-Pacific countries, have begun negotiations to form one of the largest economic alliances in the entire world. This historic pivot comes as Trump continues to wage erratic tariff wars on close allies, turning the once-stable United States into a deeply unreliable partner.
The talks are being led by Canada and will be the fruit of Carney's vision of a world in which the so-called "middle powers" unite to undermine Trump's tariffs and make themselves immune to his bullying coercion.
If successful — and it certainly appears to be heading in that direction — the supply chains of countries as far off as Canada, Malaysia, and Germany could be intwined into one super supply chain.
“The work is definitely coming along,” a Canadian government official said to POLITICO. “We’ve had very fruitful discussions on it with other partners around the world.”
“We see a lot of value in increasing trade among the EU and [Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership] parties, which would also contribute to enhancing supply chain resilience,” stated a Japanese trade official.
Last month, Carney gave an astonishing speech at the Davos World Economic Forum during which he announced the end of American dominance, stating that the "bargain no longer" works for the rest of the world. American hegemony once offered benefits, now it offers only chaos.
"Let me be direct, we are in the midst of a rupture not a transition," Carney said during that speech. "Over the past two decades a series of crises in finance, health, energy, and geopolitics have laid the bare risks of extreme global integration."
"But more recently, great powers have begun using economic integration as weapons," he said, referring to Trump. "Tariffs as leverage. Financial infrastructures as coercion. Supply chains as vulnerabilities to be exploited. You cannot live within the lie of mutual benefit through integration when integration becomes the source of your subordination."
He predicted that allied nations would "diversify to hedge against uncertainty" and "rebuild sovereignty" and that's exactly what's happening with this nascent trade alliance. Carney said that the deal will "create a new trading bloc of 1.5 billion people."
Left out in the cold would be the American people, who will be forced to stand by as the citizens of other nations enjoy easier, cheaper access to reliable goods. Trump has made us a world pariah, and the price will be shouldered by your wallet.
“We hope that if that’s a success, if you can see tangible benefits in different areas, that could also entice other countries to join in and team up in a positive sense,” said Klemens Kober, the Director of Trade Policy, EU Customs, Transatlantic Relations at the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
“So the more the merrier," Kober added.
This is what happens when you elect an ignorant conman and give him unilateral power over foreign policy. Trump and his MAGA sycophants thought that the rest of the world would simply roll over as America proceeded to pillage and ransack their coffers. Instead, they'e banding together to completely shatter the balance of power forever.

It really has got to the point where we Europeans must look on both #putin and @Donald J. Trump as untrustworthy liars. I feel deeply sorry for #yanks and #russkis.
Today, we have all seen the horrific killing of Alex Pretti, a VA nurse, by a group of heavily armed and masked men, resembling a paramilitary force.
I served in the army for 21 years. Watching that video, I saw untrained, reckless agents acting aggressively and with a posture for escalation towards a civilian community exercising their First Amendment right to free speech and protest.
ICE killings are becoming regular occurrence because Trump declared that ICE can use force with total impunity. Our leaders cannot permit Trump to have a police force loyal only to him.
These killings must stop. ICE must be reined-in and held accountable for this senseless violence.
Pictured here is Willemien Rieken. She was only 9 years old when she first began laying flowers on the grave of William Edmond, a British soldier who fought and died to liberate her Dutch Village.
From the day he died, and for 75 years, she looked after his grave and kept his memory alive.
During WWII, William served with the 1st Airborne Reconnaissance Squadron and took part in the Battle of Arnhem in the Netherlands. Sadly, on September 17, 1944, he was shot in the back by a German sniper and fell to the ground.
One of his comrades, St David Christie, rushed to his aid, but nothing could be done to save William. Seconds before dying, he said to David: "Tell my wife I love her." This British soldier was then buried at the Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery.
Willemien Rieken passed away in 2020. She was one of the last surviving Flower Children, young people who laid flowers at hundreds of graves of Allied casualties in a ceremony after the end of the war.
Niall Cherry, secretary of the Arnhem 1944 Fellowship, said: "She was one of the last surviving Dutch civilian links to the Battle of Arnhem. Willemien was a lovely lady who tended to the grave of Trooper Edmund for many years. She will be sadly missed."

I served 25 years in the Army. What I saw today was un-American. A VA ICU nurse is dead after federal agents were unleashed on a U.S. city at the whim of a sick and disturbed president.
The Administration is lying — and Republicans are silent and complicit. If you care about freedom or this country: Believe your eyes, not the lies. Stand up now. Resist.
President Trump’s comments about British Troops in Afghanistan are disgraceful.
Comments like this are factually wrong, weaken NATO, and denigrate the memory of our brave soldiers who served there.
US President Donald Trump has outraged politicians and British war veterans, after falsely claiming that Nato soldiers - including British troops - stayed back from the front line during the war in Afghanistan.
Andy Reid, who lost three limbs in the conflict, has told BBC news he's very angry about the remarks and feels his sacrifice has been ignored

Mr President @POTUS, I was concerned by your recent comments regarding NATO troops, which are not borne out by the facts. The reality is that the United Kingdom lost over 1,000 service personnel killed or seriously injured while serving on the front lines in Afghanistan, fighting shoulder to shoulder with United States forces. They were not behind; they were at the forefront of combat operations.
Were you to ask members of your own military, they would tell you of the highest regard in which UK service personnel are held, regard that is fully reciprocated by us for US troops. I hope that, at the earliest opportunity, you will correct your statement so that it properly reflects the courage, professionalism, and sacrifice of UK service personnel.
Yeah, right @realDonaldTrump - you really think we stayed a little back from the front lines in Afghanistan? 🤦🏻♂️ Come say that to the families of the 457 British servicemen and women killed, and the thousands more who suffered life changing injuries.
🚨 BREAKING: Keir Starmer has called on Donald Trump to apologise for his "insulting and frankly appalling" comments about British troops in Afghanistan
Proud to post this photo of Operation Jacana – 45 Commando deploying in harmony and standing shoulder to shoulder with our USMC comrades, operating from a forward operating base under my command and conducting front-line patrols into the high mountains of Afghanistan. 🫡
I just wanted to share this with you because THIS is what real reporting looks like.
I listened to James O’ Brien’s talk radio show this morning and spent most of it in tears listening to the mothers of fallen British soldiers who died fighting on the FRONTLINE with American soldiers.
They were broken by the utter disrespect shown by the coward stolen valour scumbag that calls himself the Commander in Chief of the US Military

Do you honestly think America could have liberated Europe without being able to launch D-Day from a UK that had seen off Nazi attempts to invade. Or could have succeeded on D-Day without a British/Commonwealth force bigger than the US contingent. Then there’s the fact the RAF provided the air cover and the Royal Navy most of the invasion armada.
More than 40,000 Canadian Armed Forces members served during Canada’s mission in Afghanistan. 158 never came home, and many others returned carrying physical and psychological wounds that continue long after service ends.
Today, and everyday, we Remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we honour the courage of all who served, and we stand with the Veterans and families who live every day with the lasting impacts of that mission.
As an organization committed to supporting Veterans of all eras, our focus remains on Remembrance, respect, and support — for the fallen, for those who served and returned, and for their loved ones.

THE SAD FACTS:
The UK deployment to Afghanistan, in support of the US Operation Enduring Freedom following the 9/11 attacks, cost 457 British lives and a further 2,188 UK personnel were wounded in action.
King's Centre for Military Health Research estimate that a further 9 to 11% of those who served in Afghanistan suffer PTSD. That's at least 25,000.
The number of British military and civilian personnel who have been left physically or mentally scarred by the war is therefore in the region of, at the very least, 27,188. The impact on all of them, their families, and the families of the men and women killed in action is immeasurable. America called and they answered.
In financial terms, the deployment cost the British taxpayer at least £32.8bn (when adjusted for inflation to 2024/25 prices).
Please could the @USAmbUK ensure that POTUS is made aware of these facts and suggest that an apology towards British and allied veterans and their families would be appropriate.
