In 2019 I read an essay and couldn’t believe someone viewed and understood the Oakland Coliseum the way we all do.

It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever read. The writer of this essay also happened to coin the phrase “Baseball’s Last Dive Bar™️”.

That writer is @jacknicas and the @nytimes flew him out from Brazil to write a follow up column in the final days of Baseball’s Last Dive Bar.

We’ve based our entire mantra off that essay and are forever grateful to Jack for allowing us to create a company with a name he created.
