@inconetwork was born out of one clear problem in web3: everything is public. every transaction, vote, and action on-chain is visible forever. while this transparency has benefits, it leaves no room for privacy, making it nearly impossible to build applications that require confidentiality. businesses can’t safely move sensitive operations to the blockchain, individuals risk exposing personal or financial data, and innovative use cases like private voting or confidential DeFi strategies remain blocked. inco emerged to solve this missing layer of programmable privacy for decentralized systems.

To achieve this, inco designed a modular, confidentiality-focused blockchain layer that plugs into existing infrastructure without forcing developers to abandon the familiar EVM stack. its architecture combines trusted execution environments (TEEs) with advanced cryptography like fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) and multi-party computation (MPC).

This dual approach lightning for speed, atlas for stronger guarantees allows developers to run encrypted computations while keeping inputs, processes, and outputs private yet verifiable. the result: a privacy engine that works seamlessly with smart contracts.
