The man who strangled a dog named Nina pleaded guilty. He got the maximum.

That is the ending to that story.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office says videos showed Nina's snout taped shut, her legs taped together, and Cole Daughtry strangling her. Nina died. He told his girlfriend it was natural causes and buried her while she was not home.

At his first pretrial hearing, Daughtry pleaded guilty to aggravated animal cruelty. Five years in prison, the statutory maximum.

Credit to the detectives, the prosecutors, and the woman who found those videos and made the call.

Five years is the most the law allowed for what those videos showed. Is the maximum enough?

Federal agents therefore operated inside a program and priority framework set by the current administration.

She has been in office 4 years, and never once tried to do anything to clean her city up. Just turned a blind eye.

Sorry I didn’t give a “Shine ✨ Update” yesterday but it wasn’t a good day.
The vet called me at 3:30 am. She said Shine was not doing well. His heart rate was still 82, he was ataxic, constantly throwing his head and not responding to medication or treatment. Not a good prognosis.
I headed straight to the vet.
I knew the moment I walked into his stall it was time.
He was so stoic and fighting but he was suffering.
The only thing more painful than letting him go would be letting him suffer one more minute.
We are stewards of their care and always have to do what’s best for them no matter how painful it is for us.
I am so grateful I got to be with him when he left this earth, to say goodbye, to thank him, to hold his head and kiss his sweet face.
Heaven got the best palomino gelding ever yesterday.

I want to thank you all for your prayers and love.
Those of you who’ve followed me a while know what a special horse he was and know he was my whole heart ♥️.
Shine ✨ carried me through some of the darkest times in my life.
He was my best friend, trusted partner, my protector, a great listener, had the best crying shoulder, was a total smartass, a clown.
He’d be very mad if I left out he was handsome AF.
He taught me more about life and about myself than any person or book ever has.
He was a once in a lifetime horse.
I am so grateful I had the honor of being his human.

I can’t begin to describe the sadness and agony my heart is feeling.

I just stopped by the West L.A. shelter with Robert Cabral to meet the beautiful dogs, speak with the hard working volunteers, and learn more about the conditions there.

So many loving dogs, just like Julia, are waiting for a home. The volunteers work so hard to walk them, nurture them, and give them the love and attention they deserve while helping them find families.

A Nigerian Illegal Alien Working As a Democrat Campaign Staffer was just ARRESTED by ICE

Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe, Nigerian national who was working as a canvasser for Democrat Janelle Stelson’s congressional campaign in Pennsylvania when he was arrested after allegedly being caught in a residential neighborhood near a park with his pants off, fully exposing himself while residents, including children, were nearby.

ICE Deputy Director Charles Wall: “It’s unbelievable that Janelle Stelson would employ an illegal alien to work on a Congressional campaign.”

We need to start charging politicians who harbor and protect illegal aliens.
