@AkronJackson There are multiple examples in each of the four major sports of successful franchises who tow the line of building for future and retaining stars to win now. It’s not crazy.
@Rob_Shenanigans My take on this is Haslam is trying to replicate Cignetti. Giving an older life long coordinator a HC job. I’m sure it makes sense to Haslam.
@Rob_Shenanigans I’m not convinced they’re trying to recoup picks from Watson trade. They recouped a 1st & 2nd with Jax and have gotten some fifths that almost make up the fourth rounders. They are still down two firsts and a third. Wouldn’t surprise me they do another trade in April.
@TripleH@TheGarden@NicTNemeth HHH would go down as legend if Nemeth came back full time one last time and HHH booked him in a way Vince never did. Give him the push he deserves.
@EdGreenberger Guardians are good because they’ve adapted. Only 58% of the top 12 highest payrolls made the playoffs this year. Spending money doesn’t mean success.
@Rob_Shenanigans@SportsBoyTony I imagine it’s frustrating when athletes do not cooperate with the media. The media has no problem using players for their hot takes, leveraging them for clicks and views, and dragging them down. How dare Myles not play along.
