The judge in the Clancy case needs to hold contempt of court hearings for the nurse jurors who reportedly ignored expert witness testimony and brought in external information (who could possibly understand the information without an external background lecture from nurses on the jury), rather than relying on expert witness testimony, and then used that to attempt to bully a juror into agreeing with them.

I think Lanterns, and the DCU in general, biggest issue is its not allowed to be criticized. Like if you bring up anything negative or that didnt really land, you get swarmed by rando's trying to call you a fake fan, even when we base our opinions on the comics. Just something to think of.

Manhunters slaughtered Sector 666 and birthed Atrocitus. They hid Parallax inside the Central Battery until it possessed Hal Jordan and he slaughtered the Corps. They built Alpha Lanterns as internal police that became executioners. Then they decided the entire Green Lantern Corps was a failure and grew the Third Army out of their own flesh to turn every living thing into a mindless drone, One of their own, Scar, even helped trigger the Blackest Night from the inside.

The 2011 movie copies the pattern: a Guardian named Krona tries to master fear, becomes Parallax, escapes the prison they built, and starts eating planets while the rest of the Guardians sit on Oa debating protocol.

They are not ancient sages who keep getting unlucky with personnel. They are control freaks whose every “solution” manufactures the next cosmic threat so the universe never stops needing them. Betrayal is not a plot hole. It is the business model.

I'm watching that Green Lantern animated show for the first time and damn, it's actually wayy better than it has any right to be. The animation is smooth. The first 2 episodes are about genocide somehow. The third is about humane treatment of criminals in prison. I'm having fun!

Make a mystery and conclude it satisfactory, plus showing that you can't just WANT or believe that you are OWED a Green Lantern right, you must earn it.
