@haydockraces Haydock’s main concern is getting the money in from people disinterested in the racing itself, i.e. the corporate crowd and coach party pissheads paying extortionate prices, rather than true racegoers and the sport’s administration.
@Donatel71487454@merseyrail@65x58fv6wt Thank you and yes, although it’s wise to hang about for a while and have a pint in addition to relieving yourself, in the fair likelihood of a train delay/cancellation.
@AnimalAid Question for you. If it’s banned what do you think will happen to the thousands of thoroughbred horses taking part? Will their owners keep them as pets, or will something else altogether be the outcome?
@AnimalAid Both he and Celebre D’Allen are OK and going home, but I don’t suppose you’ll be plastering that all over your page as it doesn’t fit your desired narrative.
@AnimalAid So when a person falls and is loaded into an ambulance for assessment/treatment like Broadway Boy, you want an immediate statement? These are thoroughbreds doing their job. Ban jump racing? Then justify euthanasia of the entire stock, many thousands, that would undeniably result.
