Police exist to protect life, not take it. Every Kenyan deserves to exercise their constitutional rights without fear of violence or intimidation. Those responsible for unlawful use of force must be held accountable, and justice must prevail.
We must uphold human dignity, protect fundamental freedoms, and strengthen accountability within our institutions.

In October 2013, a man called Bogonko Bosire disappeared. Bogonko, previously a writer with Agence France-Presse, became a blogger for hire after losing his job. He ran a website, Jackal News, where it is said he would post articles for a round of beer. One of the posts he was hired to publish was a leak of the names of witnesses lined up to testify against then President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto, at the International Criminal Court (ICC), for their alleged roles in the 2007-2008 post-election violence.
Not long after - probably because of the incriminating knowledge he possessed - Bogonko mysteriously disappeared from the face of the earth. He was abducted, murdered, and his body was never found. Three months later, in December the same year, Albert Muriuki went missing from State House, Nairobi. Muriuki had worked as an intern at the International Criminal Court (ICC) before being appointed to State House. Bogonko and Muriuki were “disappeared” after finishing their dirty job of publicly exposing ICC witnesses.
Many of the witnesses recanted their testimonies after being threatened, while others were paid off. A killer police squad called Kwekwe was formed to hunt down and kill the stubborn ones who refused to recant. The ICC suspects knew who to kill or target because they had a hit list The Kwekwe squad officers were also eliminated after killing the witnesses. The ICC suspects hired a “cleaner” to eliminate the men they had used to do their dirty job.
While Bogonko and Muriuki likely got what they deserved for sleeping with the devil, there are four women who dared to resist the rich and powerful and did not deserve to be murdered.
Nancy Waithera, an employee of the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), was taken out by a sniper as she walked along Kaunda Street in Nairobi on February 17, 2023. She was a whistleblower in a Ksh 1.1 billion scandal involving NHIF CEO Geoffrey Mwangi, who had initially been suspended but returned after he was cleared by the court. Her killers are still walking scot-free.
On July 15, 2021, 67-year-old environmental activist Joannah Stutchbury was shot six times outside her Kiambu home as she got out of her car to clear the driveway, which had been blocked by tree branches. At the time, the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), George Kinoti, said preliminary investigations indicated that Stutchbury might have been killed for her resistance to the encroachment and illegal construction of a road, and the grabbing of Kiambu forest.
Earlier in March of the same year, the body of a senior officer with the National Land Commission (NLC), Jennifer Itumbi Wambua, was discovered in a field in Ngong after she had been reported missing on March 12. Wambua was a key witness in a case where a deputy governor and a former top civil servant were charged with conspiring to defraud the government of Ksh 122.3 million.
Recently, another mysterious disappearance has hit the headlines. Esther Wairimu is the most senior legal officer at Kenya Forest Service HQ on Kiambu Road. She has served in the position for over 10 years.
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, she reportedly arrived home from work and told her family that she was feeling uncomfortable after being asked to sign certain documents in the office. She vowed not to return to work.
Nevertheless, she reported to work at approximately 10 a.m. the following day and worked until around 2 p.m. when she left for her home in Juja. Upon reaching Juja town, she alighted from the vehicle she was travelling in and went into Senate Hotel to check out the gym, and disappeared.
For the past three weeks, search efforts by her family, friends, and colleagues have yielded no results. They combed the area around Juja on foot, by vehicle, and even with drones, but to no avail. She disappeared at a time when there are many attempts to grab public land, including inside the forest where she worked, Karura Forest. Yesterday, her decomposing body was found in a forest in Gatundu. She had been abducted and murdered.
In July 2022, two Indian nationals, Mohamed Zaid Sami Kidwai and Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan, alongside their Kenyan taxi driver Nicodemus Mwania Mwange were shot and killed by the police. When Ruto became president, he ordered the police officers charged with the killing to be prosecuted. Officers from the Special Service Unit who had abducted the three men, and those from the National Intelligence Service who had helped do the tracking, were arrested. Additionally, Kenya Wildlife Service officers who had helped dispose of the remains where they would be eaten by wild animals, were also charged. So, to the men and women carrying out abductions and assassinations on orders from above, you will face your day in court.
During the 2022 General Election, William Ruto received 78% of the presidential vote in Ol Kalou.
Today, this is the very constituency where he has now deployed senior government officials to bribe voters and literally buy votes by taking people’s ID cards in exchange for mattresses and gas cylinders. Women are even being given rubber shoes.
He has gone a step further by taking them a train and boats. The only thing left now is a rocket to take the people of Ol Kalou on a tour of the moon before the by-election day.
Isitoshe, the amount of money being dished out is insane, and almost every key government official from Mt. Kenya has abandoned their office to camp in Nyandarua.
This is how dramatically Ruto’s political fortunes have declined in just four years. A President who once enjoyed overwhelming support in this constituency now appears to believe that the path back to the people’s hearts is through handouts.
Ahead of the 2027 elections, the regime is looting every public sector to bankroll voter bribery, finance violence and intimidate citizens from voting through use of goons.
Kasarani OCS Agnes Ndanu who is at the centre of allegations surrounding the fall of her partner Nicole Omondi from a 6th floor apartment in Thome was wild namna hatari. According to the stories making rounds on TikTok, every time she was ovulating & on heat, instead of looking for young energetic men with curved makagare like me to cool her down,, she would arrest young yellow yellow damsels and lock them in a cell, where she would allegedly order them to show her tirries and other variables that could serve as cash bail for their release. She would later launch investigation by accessing their wandawea areas & supply them with high voltage electricity using Msolombo wa umeme & other threatening tools. Chesaa!! Four armed gangsters were fatally shot and a loaded Falcon pistol recovered after the suspects engaged detectives in a fierce gun battle during an intelligence-led operation along the Eldoret–Kiplombe–Soy Road.
The incident unfolded after detectives from the Operation Action Team (OAT), augmented by local law enforcement officers acting on credible information from vigilant members of the public, laid an ambush.
The suspects, who had been masquerading as police officers while terrorising innocent motorists and other road users, walked straight into the detectives’ trap.
Cornered but unwilling to surrender, the gangsters opened fire. The detectives responded swiftly, triggering a fierce exchange of gunfire that left four thugs fatally injured.
However, two of their accomplices managed to slip through the dragnet on motorcycles towards Eldoret Town.
A meticulous search of the scene uncovered a Falcon pistol loaded with six rounds of ammunition, a homemade pistol, one spent cartridge, a hammer, crude housebreaking tools, balaclava masks, gloves and ropes, an arsenal pointing to a gang well-equipped for violent criminal missions.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspects are part of an organised criminal gang that has, since late last year, been impersonating police and military officers while carrying out violent robberies across the Rift Valley region. Armed with an AK-47 rifle and a pistol, the gang allegedly exploited the uniforms to lower the guard of unsuspecting victims before striking with precision.
Investigators are also analysing forensic and other evidence to establish the gang's involvement in a robbery with violence incident reported at Gathioro Police Station, during which a PCEA reverend was murdered, as well as other crimes across the region.
Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) detectives processed the scene, and the bodies of the four thugs were moved to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary pending post-mortem and identification.
The recovered Falcon pistol has since been forwarded to the National Police Service Forensic Laboratory (NPSFL), where ballistic experts will determine whether it was used in other crimes, a crucial step that could unlock more investigations.
Meanwhile, detectives have intensified the hunt for the gang’s fleeing accomplices, as the dragnet tightens around those still on the run.
The DCI commends members of the public whose timely information proved instrumental in the operation and urges Kenyans to continue reporting suspicious persons and criminal activities. Public vigilance remains one of the strongest weapons in the fight against crime.

If public enthusiasm is anything to go by, Edwin Sifuna is becoming one of the most popular political figures in the country.
From western Kenya to central Kenya, from the coast to Nyanza, his name is attracting attention and discussion. Many supporters see him as a leader with the potential to unite people around common issues rather than tribe.

On September 20, 2015, Ruth Wanjiku Kamande stabbed her boyfriend Farid Mohamed Halim to death at Buruburu Estate in Nairobi. She was convicted of murder in May 2018, and on July 19, 2018, High Court Judge Jessie Lesiit sentenced her to death, finding that she had shown no remorse and had acted with clear malicious intent.
In November 2020, the Court of Appeal dismissed her appeal, ruling that the trial court had properly considered the law and evidence and rightly rejected her plea of self-defence. Kamande then escalated to the Supreme Court, seeking to introduce the battered woman syndrome as a defence, but the court dismissed the appeal in April 2025, noting the defence had never been raised at trial and that her own testimony described the relationship as a normal romantic one, with no substantial evidence of abuse.
She continues to serve her life sentence.
WHY THE HIGH COURT STOPPED LANG’ATA AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT
Land Court issued a prohibitory injunction halting all construction at the Southlands Affordable Housing Project in Lang’ata, Nairobi
Three-judge bench (Justices Oscar Angote, Charles Mbogo, Christine Ochieng) found the Ministry of Housing and state agencies violated mandatory constitutional and statutory environmental safeguards
Project scale: 15,960 residential units intended to house 60,000–80,000 people; commenced in 2025
EIA licence quashed — NEMA/EIA/ESL/0001425 (issued December 16, 2025) was nullified after court found excavation and preliminary works had begun months before environmental approvals were obtained
Public participation fraud alleged — government records contained identical photographs and substantially similar minutes falsely presented as separate stakeholder consultations for different lots
NEMA failed to demonstrate compliance with mandatory public notification requirements under Regulations 20, 21, 22, and 23 of the EIA and Audit Regulations — no gazette notice, newspaper publication, radio announcement or public invitation notice was placed before the court
Petition filed by Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah, partially allowed as a matter of huge public interest
Infrastructure concerns raised over proximity to Wilson Airport, Nairobi National Park, Lang’ata Barracks, and the Trans-African Transport Corridor road and rail reserve
Court described the government’s conduct as “an act of sheer impunity”
The Ruto government is just too much. These guys wake up every single day just to conjure up more ways to cause pain to Kenyans. I know we are expected to keep government in check as opposition but it’s literally impossible to keep up with the breadth and depth of the capacity for evil these guys have. It doesn’t have to be like this bwana. When we tell you just kicking Ruto out solves 80% of our problems you best believe! Just like he did with Haiti and now Ebola, for the right amount, this one can sell us to the devil himself!
Release your words of faith. Words reinforce what you think. Make God bigger than anything else that you see and declare it is true. You and I have the ability to prophesy the course of our lives.
Ruto’s Deteriorating Health: The Bitter Harvest of Sputnik Greed and Expired Poison
The intense and visible deterioration of William Ruto’s health - though the exact medical details remain hidden - can be directly traced back to the day he eagerly got injected with the untested Russian Sputnik vaccine in 2021, during the height of the pandemic.
So greedy and opportunistic was Ruto that after publicly taking the jab as a cheap marketing stunt, he had already laid the groundwork to import and sell these experimental vaccines to desperate Kenyans.
By the time the government pretended to ban the sale for optics, the poison was already circulating in the country.
This mirrors the total collapse of standards under his watch - the same way he authorised the sale of expired sugar and condemned cooking oil through then-Trade CS Moses Kuria, foodstuffs that eventually ended up on innocent citizens’ plates.
If you’re tempted to feel any sympathy or say “woishe” for Ruto as his body fails him publicly, remember these atrocities.
Don’t be like the generation of old useless bastards - Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials - who are currently more obsessed with the fact that Gaitho “insulted” Uhuru Kenyatta and Rigathi Gachagua than with the terrifying reality of an Ebola pandemic being deliberately imported into Kenya by Ruto and Donald Trump.
Never forget: Moses Kuria and Ruto distributed expired sugar and condemned cooking oil, and not a single person has been jailed for it. Yet critics and dissenters are hunted like terrorists, with some already dead - like Dr. Job Obwaka and Cyrus Jirongo.
As you watch Ruto’s health collapse in real time, let it serve as a permanent warning: Do not allow yourself to be injected with unknown, untested substances.
Do not trust the mainstream (githeri) media and the corrupt church that coerced you into electing war criminals and mass murderers. The consequences are now playing out in broad daylight.
