@Steelersdepot Bro talking about 'you're past your prime,' while they are bringing back 42-year-old Rodgers. I don't think anyone would argue that he is in his prime. Their history (when the actually won stuff) is in no way indicative of what they will do now.
@KevinAdams26 It seems like theyβre planning to trade up for a top QB next year. Garrett wasn't moving the needle for them anyway, individual accolades mean nothing when the team stinks. It's a decent strategy, but knowing the Browns, theyβll likely fail to develop whoever they draft.
@acpovcrew@hogzillaonx People looking at the state of this franchise and saying they made the right choice absolutely suffer from cognitive dissonance.
@BillLeeds@DomDiTommaso I love Jones? Ok. Hitherto, I had no strong feeling about him, but if you say I love him, I must.
This isn't about agreeing or disagreeing with their decisions. It is about one guy not doing what was asked of him. Bringing Jones into it is ridiculous.
@BillLeeds@DomDiTommaso I don't care what he said to reporters. If the team told him he was going to the pen and he refused, that would be different.
That said, it was likely that he had already been told by the team their plans, which was for him to start.
