The Oconee County boys track and field team captured its first-ever title on Thursday at the Class AAA State Championships!
Oconee County claimed four individual titles - two on the boys side and two on the girls side - as well as one relay at UGA's Spec Towns Track.
The Warriors were powered by a dominant distance performance from Aaron Brodrick, who won the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs. The 4x800 relay of Brodrick, Eli Beall, Tate Jenkins, and Noah Dixon also posted a state title.
The Lady Warriors placed fourth, led by an incredible effort from Enea Kujath. She won state crowns in the discus and 100 hurdles and finished second in the shot put.
