Decision makers are elected to represent, not to play god. If you have spent time with a dying person and experienced their suffering - you want to alleviate their suffering. I sincerely hope consciences are engaged today and we allow dying people dignity in their final days.
How many of these decision makers bothered to take the time to go and meet terminally ill patients - to go to a hospice or an end of life ward and understand the challenges directly? Assisted dying is an uncomfortable subject matter. This is a question of choice and dignity.

The week that I have been dreading. I have to say goodbye to Mum for the final time. Life feels like a literal train wreck right now, I would do anything to be anywhere away from here with you today Mum xx

She was incredible! I may have sobbed through a lot of it but was nice to take my brain to a different place for an hour or so!
