HBCU’s are and have been CRUCIAL to the development of Social Work workforce. We create about 1 out of every 3 Black BSW’s - keep in mind we are ~9% of the accredited programs and less than 3% of colleges nationwide.
My colleague is using AI to respond to emails - it’s slightly irritating. AI just restructures the original email to confirm that it (not you) interpreted what I sent. But it doesn’t RESPOND so I’m just rereading my well thought out words. No original thought in reply.
I had the most amazing advisor/dissertation chair. She remains a mentor. And we have naturally transitioned into a friendship in the years since I finished.
