Genesis 11 includes Babel where languages & nations were born as we see in Ge 10 in the days of Peleg. The people at Babel were like us - planning their own way, but the LORD ordains our steps. May we not miss His plan for our life by considering all just happenstance.
The work which His goodness began
The arm of His strength will complete;
His promise is Yea and Amen
And never was forfeited yet.
Things future, nor things that are now,
Nor all things below or above,
Can make Him His purpose forgo
Or sever my soul from His love.
Unfortunately this rarely works. Each one learns their own lessons the hard way. It is the rare individual who learns observing another's journey. We always think we can do it better. LORD, I know I am ignorant of the best way- help me to follow You.
